the fire has reached our base its all behind the flight line on camp pendleton like 2 miles from me!!

Like I said in the LAX thread, was lookin at some satellite imagery and SD has it way worse than up here. =/

$1 billion of damage in san diego alone. and they have a warrant out in orange county, but they didn't specify what they were looking for, or what was lost. let's hope they have a lead on the arson *******!

How bad is it on base? My brother is stationed out there. He was working on the cobras and hueys til they "selected" him for lawn mowing duties a little while back. If you ever run across a Marine L-Cpl Lynn let me know.

You obviously have no idea as to the immensity of the situation. The fires are HUGE. Hundreds of thousands of acres... Hundreds of square miles.
