I have had an overwhelming feeling all morning and during my meditation I found out why.....these fires have me very concerned for all of you and all of SoCal. Please, please take caution for yourselves and all the others who need help at this time.
My thoughts are with everyone right now. Please, again, stay safe.

still burning...
update on Malibu Fires: Authorities are hoping to have 100% containment of that fire in 3 days. Remember, containment doesn't mean it's completely put out, just that it's under control.

Man...I was on vacation in Hawaii last week. I just got back....can't believe how bad they are. I work in Rancho Bernardo and the building is closed due to smoke and fire damage. It is surrounded by new homes.....
considering the SIZE of that fire, 3 days isn't all that bad. Unfortunately we've had virtually NO rain in So Cal the last 2 years so the dry brush is making it tough on the firefighters.
Didn't it rain a few weeks ago? I actually wanted to go driving in Malibu this past weekend, but decided against it. Maybe I should've gone since now there might be nothing there.
yep, and now we're doomed, by the freaking smoke, don't drive ur 8! especially with an aftermarket intake! they weren't built to filter against these microscopic ashes
cstokes24 is back!!!!!! wazzup stokes!!???!!

Both of my parents (live seperately) just got evacuated. They both live near eachother. One in Santiago Canyon, the other off of El Toro (s18) just west of Cooks Corner

if they get through the intake, the ashes won't stand a chance in the rotor housing. Keep in mind, water evaporates instantly upon entering the engine. Worst case scenario, your exhaust fumes will smell funny
Wildfire: The latest on the Santiago fire
Between 15-20 homes are on fire in Modjeska Canyon, said resident David Boquette, who drove out of the area and said he was the last resident out. Fire trucks are attempting to put out the blazes while water-carrying planes are dropping their loads across nearby Santiago Canyon Estates, located about 1/4 mile from Cooks Corner. The homes are in danger of being set ablaze there. Residents are hosing their homes down there as well. - 12:23 p.m.
Fire officials are estimating that the Santiago fire has caused at least $5.5 million in damage since Sunday evening. They expect that figure to increase significantly, in part because they now expect to lose some homes in Modjeska Canyon. - 12:53 p.m.
A dozen firefighters had to use the protective fire shelters they carry with them after the fire charged toward them early this morning, fire officials announced. All 12 firefighters are OK and accounted for. - 12:27 p.m.

"It was nuclear winter. It was like Armageddon. It looked like the end of the world," Mitch Mendler, a San Diego firefighter
My thoughts and prayers are with brave firefighters trying to put out these fires.
