kinda in the same boat. we have a total of what 4 races now, and already have 35 laps on them. I would like to get them to last the rest of the season. unless of course I sell them to get the 285's

I have two races on mine (makes for 12 runs).

I'm running the free one, which only special people can get into. I normally don't run practices due to the tire wear, but it's free, will have a small turn out, and the course should be pretty cool. I'm also signed up for the SD school 7/1 so the tires I just mounted will likely be toast in a couple weeks.

Real tough to get a set to last a whole season, especially with a co-driver. You'd pretty much have to limit yourself to just your 3 runs at champ events, no fun runs or practice.

That is my thinking...we'll have to see if they actually last that long.

FYI, there's a good chance there will be an SD champ event on 7/9, which conflicts with the next RX8 cup.

Thats why you have it so you can drop 2 events from your points, no one can hit them all. I will miss Aug when we go to the NW for the Natl Tour/Prosolo weekends.

It is a balance... You want the tires to last but when you are new you NEED the seat time.

We'll hook you up with 10 bonus points if you win the Pro Solo the weekend of the cup event.

As long as you guys all keep fighting for 2nd I will just keep pulling further away.

If it looks like I will miss to many events and need to pad my points I will bring the wife to run blocker and knock you down one more step.

Or your wife wins a couple of events to reduce the rate in which your points lead is increasing!

Only happens once every ten years.... Once in 95' and once in 05', so I am safe for a while.

Casey, do you think we could do the same thing on mine, with that static cling stuff....just for race days. Oh, and I'm not referring to the Pokeman thing

he he he..... my bad. that was on your pulley install though.

at the last track neither Keith nor I was happy with any of the 3 runs.

This time I was quite happy with my runs. (except the damn coned runs. I cant belive I hit the same cone twice! I guess I didnt realize how wide the car is.)
