would have come in handy on the last track. (and yes I know nothing beats seat time) just curious.

And then if you are really good (i.e. Ulllose) you can win both the SD and Fontana events in the same month and have both the rotor and housing

Yes, PAX gives us stock guys an advantage, but it does nothing to help me against ULLLOSE. What it does is allow me to beat BSP without actually beating your times.
Some numbers:
BS .822
BS .843
STU .820
STU actually has it the easiest. For a typical 60 sec course, BSP would have to run about 1.25 secs quicker than BS.

Having said that, I'm down to run heads up with you guys for awhile. Just thought I'd throw the info out there. I haven't shown you my real stuff yet, just sandbagging so far...

I only meant that STU has the "softest" PAX, not that it was easy to be competitive. Yes, I drove on the stock tires for almost a year. The stock tires suck, but the top street tires (Yokos) are getting closer to r-compounds in grip.

Just did my 30k service and had the dealer put in Redline fluids for the diff and tranny... unfornuately the morons forgot to put the fill plug for the diff back in.
Fluid all over the exhaust and a nice smell to match. I'm stuck at home now and they're not open tomorrow. Hopefully I can get things sorted out tomorrow and make the event Sunday.

Have you or Ulllose ever run on stock tires?

Long story short I was in and out of the Dr's all week and made it as far as Denver last night when I got sick again. So I am back in town and am going to try to hit the Sun event. I don't want to wait all day for BS or BSP to run so if I show I will run SM or PAX in the AM group.
I think all the RX8s should make an assult on SM sun.... The class is being owned by a chick in a BMW.

Couldn't track down a plug that would fit the diff properly, so I got no car for tomorrow. If I can get a ride up to the event, who would like the priveledge of letting me co-drive their 8?

Drove James Wilson's old school RX7. Pretty cool of him to hook me up since he barely know's me.
2 spins
1 spin
2 cones (69.882)
Sorta forgot the car didn't have ABS the first 2 runs. Once I realized my spins were due to locking up the brakes too much I was able to at least get through the 3rd run without getting backwards. Think the car could easily do 67s, but was too scared of spinning again on the last run. Reminded me how much I suck... had fun though.
