I was very lucky when I started in 93' I had Tom Kotzian who was a multi time natls champ in my class, SS Corvettes, to help me along with driving and car setup. I know how much that helped me and I like to try to do the same. I think it is fun to teach and it helps me get back to basics. Kotzian had already been at it 20 years when he helped me and to this day he is a great driver and one of the top Evo driving school instructors. I sure got a kick out of it a few months ago when he called me for setup tips on the RX8 he bought. The student becomes the master. 
It is also easy to help people that are cool and fun to hang with. If you guys were a bunch of dicks we would trash you and mean it.

I had Tom as one of my Evo 1 instructors... very nice guy and a great teacher.
Now that you guys (Keith and Casey) are getting more serious, are you planning on trying some National events? Maybe next years SD tour and Fontana pro solo? A lot of fun, and some great competition.

oh yeah, jsut so you BSP guys know, there were 10 drivers, not 9. if you look at the results the Subaru did not get counted. they are discussing this on the CSCC website. it looks as though he will get added.

Speeddemon, since you are denying my RX7 points I'll point out that the points for the 1st cup are wrong. I was ahead of Alex Wan, but Keith has no sorting skills.

there have got to be SOME rules. If we were counting all rotary times it would be one big list! (and not as fair. even with the mods we have, at least we are on the same platform running RX-8 vs RX-8 )

I think at the last event 3rd should have gotten 25, and this time 2nd should have gotten 25. I'll let you know what place getys the 25 points at a later date.

which one did you sign up for MP5, the free Saturday on, or the 60 dollar Sunday one?
