Make up your mind does it push or not??? That is not what you said here: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/kw-suspension-review-92918/

Here: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...9&page=2&pp=15 you are talking about your many years you have been driving and how you out drive the car, yep you showed us how you can out drive the car.

Also in the same thread you tell me how big tires, 265+ will not fit the RX8, glad Casey did not listen to you.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to drive Alex Wan's Exige. That is an amazing car or go-cart, however you want to look at it. The burst of power at ~6k RPM reminded me of the 2nd turbo lighting up on a 3rd gen RX-7. The handling and streering are so direct--no power steering so the tight left/right transition was tough. I drove like crap, but I do that in the RX-8 too! Kudos to the two Jasons for pulling double duty--that's hardcore!

Sell out... No way I would park the RX8 for an Exige, aka Toyota MR2 with body kit, co-drive.

Now if Alex was to call and offer up the GT3 I would be all over that.

I've seen 265's rub with stock rims and that is what I was refering to.

I just put the new suspension system on a week and a half ago.

It appears the new set up is oversteer. Need sometime at 80 around corners to see how I like it. I try not to race around on the streets.

One slip or over judgement or hot dog move is not good.

Yep, you are good at Auto X

I have run 265s on my stock rims with no problem. Thanks to Casey after sunday now you know 285s on the correct offset wheel do not rub and his car is about the lowest I have ever seen.

That combo just looks sick. When you turn around and look at a 245 setup on stock wheels you just laugh after seeing the 285s on the big boys.

yeah I think they look pretty sweet to! It's amazing how much they dont seem much bigger when you set them side by side, but when you look at one, and then look at the other there is a big differance. (refering to the picture I took of Keiths and mine set side by side.)

one of these days I would like to get you in my car so you can tell me what you think.

edit:

trying to find that picture........... cant find it. did I not post it?

didn't get them through Goodwin, and this is where the problem lies...oh well. Save a couple bucks, and get screwed in the long run.

Last weekend's SD results are posted:

http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/results/2006-8_fin.htm

PAX: http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/results/2006-8_pax.htm

I ended up in 9th with Isley in 10th. Was hoping to better my personal best of 9th from January, but can't complain about being in the top 10.

Congradulations Jason...

...wow, looking at the class results, looks like BSP is really competitive. Is that 350z driver a local.....Street Mod, which is actually my class given the damn body kit, looks weak.

The 350z driver is an SD local, and a pretty good driver. He used to run with me in BS when we were both on street tires and we had some good competition going. Recently went to 285 V710s and did a little suspension work, but I think he is still mostly stock.

Not sure who the SM guys are, but a lot of times SM gets the guys that show up and have already over-modded their cars but aren't near the limits of the class rules.

That would be exactly like my case....kicked into that class for the damn body kit. I'll have to keep my eyes open on the SD listings....to see if SM runs at a time close to what BS runs...I may be up for coming down since the August event up here looks like it may be canceled and replaced with a whole bunch of practice days.

I think the August event will still be a go... we don't have any down here the whole month. It should be interesting, it's a night event if you didn't know. Some people were whining about visibility, but I think it's a great idea given the summer heat.

Go ahead and spend time with your new wife. With ULLLOSE in Washington, the rest of us will have a shot at the big 20 rx8 cup points.

Yes... With me going after the Natl tour and prosolo win in WA I need someone other than Casey to take those 20 points... Someone like MP5 who is way behind in points would be perfect.

btw where is that points update.

Haha, it is basically a race for 2nd. It's funny that you care so much... not like you need the rx8 cup to pad your resume.

he he he..... true.... true.
still nice to see that he at least cares a little. I know it's for nothing, but still fun to do.
