Actually, I won't be there tomorrow. I went today for a private SCNAX practice... was pretty awesome. 90 sec course on a good surface. I think I had the top time of the day, but there wasn't much competition out there. Also got a sneak peak at the RevItUp Cobalt's running the course and the top secret AMCI autox course.

Hey it gets better.... How about a three event weekend. PCA on July 8th, SD and Cal Club on the 9th.

Damn that Auto Cross is an Art.
Best time I could get at El toro was a 97
I still drive like I'm on a race track.
That's a unique skill you have to learn.
How was Fontanna today?

Was it your first time trying autox? The El Toro course was pretty technical, hard to master if you've never done it before. I was running in the 88 sec range yesterday, but I hear you guys ran it in the opposite direction than we did so the comparison doesn't mean much.

Ja, they were all raving about you.
How you spanked all there as....es
We did get an 88.89 on the track.
Two or three guys said they were now thinking of buying an 8.

For the record.... Did you take 15 runs and only give him 1 and make him haul your dumb @ss with him?

Haha, I knew you would call me out. Yes, he only had one try but we were outta time. We swapped seats so I drove with him passenger I think I had 1.5 secs on him. I'm sure he woulda caught me within a couple of runs. His main problem was that he under estimated the brakes and hit them way early at first.

Now that I think about it, I should of let him take a few runs in it while I was working to see what it could really do. Watching him punish the Cobalts at the end of the day was classic.

Paul ("golden tri")....hope your day at the school went well. If you have questions on how ot get registered for the Speedway events let me know.
On a different issue, I was talking with Speed about our numbering. I was thinking that we could reserve the 800 numbers....starting with 800, and then up through however many people end up competing for the RX8 Cup. Then, next year, the RX8 Cup winner will be granted the ability to run number 800 all year, second place with 801 and so on.....
I think this would be cool, give you something to fight for, in addition to the Cup.
Any thoughts?

If anyone is looking for some practice/school tires I have some take-offs, Kumho V710 245-35-18. To good to give away, 80 runs, should be good for 20-40 more runs so perfect for practice/schools. $80.00 for the whole set come and get them.
