KW Varient 3 coilover system for track use.

Initial Review:

Completely different. Now the rear end is stiff. Stiffer than the front.

Can't even feel the RB front sway bar. No more pushing now.
Feels like the front end is 150 lbs. lighter. I can actually turn the steering wheel like a roller ball mouse, just click and go!

Planning and pointing the car in the direction and angle you want to go is no problem now.

Now I remember what the stock set up was like. Compared to the stock response at the steering wheel, I have more maneuverability in turning at high speed.

It's quick to respond. Perhaps too quick. A fine tune will help this out.

No more street car now. You definitely feel the road, especially the buckling of the freeway at low speeds.... City dwellers beware....

However, I have reached some speed and it rides like glass unless there's a bump in the road and then the transition between up and down is smooth too.

I think over the long run I will stiffen up the front end, which is great because it's easy to do.

Since the suspension is reversed from the previous setup, no more going ***** out around the track for me as I'm afraid I may spin the rear out. Need to re-learn and think safety.

Take that ULLOOSE !

No more for me with those skinny wheels.

For those of you that say you don't mind a stiff setup, then this suspension is for you.

Compression adjustment on top, damper adjustment on bottom.

Front is 455 lb spring rate with helper spring.

Rear is progressive rate with helper spring.

it got too many adjustment, you got to be a pro to set it up.

Can you count to four?

It's not that hard. Once you get it where you like it, you will know how many turns to turn it back to soft for daily driveing.

If it's a daily driver it's just a little more work to get it where you like it.

But then you have to count to four.

I have K&W V3 for over a year now, I have tracked my car and I can corfirm...these coilovers are awesome!!

You said you can easily stiffen the front and I know it's extremely easy to do, but how do we have to proceed to stiffen the rear? I tried, but I was unable to reach the screw on the top of the shocks. Maybe you know...

how do you find adjusting compression and rebound on a progressively sprung rear? i would imagine it'd be harder to do since there's no linear spring rate from which to base feel.

When I say I don't know how to adjust the stiffness in the rear, I mean I don't know how to access to the screw that is on the top of the rear coilovers.
