Don't think Erica or I will be going. The idea of getting together with Rotor freaks is cool, but the memorial thing is just eerie for me. It was hard for me to attend last year, but my feelings to provide support to the family immediately following the accident was stronger...so I went and am glad I did.

I think it is awsome that Jessie spent so much time on the gift he made. I know it will mean the world to the family. I appreciate those who are going in my place...as this is just not something for me.

I hope the weather holds for you on your drive to Palm Springs...as there is no way you will be making a trip up the mountain. Be safe guys.

Met the guy once. (my first meet with the san bern group)
But a group of rotorheads getting together, i aint gonna miss it.
And showing support for the family, aint nothing wrong with that either.

It is a great chance to take your 8 out for a get together. When will you ever have a chance to do that again?

Can't come February 9th? Did you come to the December 2007 meet? Thats the only one I've been to, so I'm still trying to put names to faces.

Hey all

Well I got good news, I will be back from Iraq on the 15th of Feb SO it will be cool to see everyone again.

TO answer questions from the past post. I was going to get an Audi R8 but after talking to a guy who owns one and getting his advice, its not worth the money. I thought about replacing my motor with a RX7 motor but its too costly, I thought about getting FI done to my RX8 but dont know about that. I did buy the NIZMO 350 Z as a final decision. With the money left over that I was going to spend on the Audi R8, I will be able to FI both the RX8 and the Z. I change my mind a lot and get a lot of advice before I do something. Sorry for the confusion!

On another note: As you all know I have the AT RX8, well let me tell you, I had my mom call PST and order a custom CF drive shaft and went with New Pulse plugs, They ignite better from what an Import Magazine said. My dyno was 145 whp stock and with the RB cat replacement pipe, exhaust, intake, and Cryo 2 spray system. I pulled 190 whp on a mustang Dyno. From what the guy said, if I would have used a dynojet dyno, I would have pulled a bit higher. He said that the new drive shaft compared to the old stock steel drive shaft that the AT has. It freed up a lot more HP for me. Still not as good as some of the HP gains I saw with the guys who have MT, but that is a big jump. It cost me $1100 for the new drive shaft and the Cryo2 system was free from my new sponser. I just cant wait to drive my car again. Having all the work done via email and Family sucks. So again hello all and I look forward to seeing you all again. Just hope the plane home does not crash now lol

Jordan, be safe those last couple of days.

Glad to hear you made some decisions on your cars....it is always hard to feel you settled for less than you want, but it looks like FI with the Z and your ideas on the 8 will make things work for you.
