off topic - i finished everything with 5 start on easy except for one song towards the bottom and got one perfect...i am now working on medium which i imagine wont be that bad after i get used to the new finger.
mmm... i don't think it looks any worse than the current sti... the dashboard is high, and i'm not sure that i like a recessed driving position. if anything, it looks like a mazda3 crossed w/ an audi a3...
Okay techie gurus ;
How do you split up a huge music file to put it on 2 discs? All of my techno music seems to be too big as a single song to put on a normal disc. Would it be easier to go get the MP3/CD player from Mazda . . .Or is there a program that will split the song in to smaller files?

The Mp3/CD player from Mazda is definitely a better option, but Slice File splitter is a free option you can use now.
r u saying that u have a single techno song that is over 700MB?
well, there are digital audio mastering apps that can place digital index (start/ stop) code markers where u choose. it's basically how they master CDs- ie once the songs are all done, they import the songs into the mastering program and set the time space between songs, filter out white noise frequencies etc. but, for what u want to do- what a pain.
i say, just get a portable digital mp3 player like an ipod. mazda's ipod adapter is around $100+ or so i believe. or, if u have a cassette player in your 8 like i do, $20 bucks on a sony cassette adapter and you're good to go. an extra $20 for an a/c vent mount- which works quite nicely btw- and you're still ahead by at least $60. they key benefit is u can take a portable mp3 player whereever u go and also use it for when u fly or travel.
if u get the mazda mp3/ cd player, u can only use it in the car. and for that kinda of money, y not get something that is more flexible and that gives u options?
my 0.02 anyways.
