SELF ownage referred to me always missing meets due to working too much, making plans elsewhere, etc. All stuff that I (willingly or unwillingly) did to myself.

 

This was the best humpity hump day of the year.....my last day of work was today .....[singing]School's out for summer....duh, duh, duh, schools out for summer[/singing]

 

zoo tender and ghost have confirmed they are coming to the Jedi/Kwescott rockin get together....looks like it will be a good turn out.

everyone is welcome to come over, leave, come back, whenever. Thought I would just make the suggestion of a 1:00 start as everyone probably has different schedules. Last years rock party lasted till 1:00am (at least for me....but I know a couple kept rocking for time afterwards).

I would suggest coming over at 1:00 in the afternoon.

Erica went shopping the last two days to get the grilln and side order stuff that we are making for everyone....that is why we needed the head count. Feel free to bring over munchies (chips or stuff like that). I will (well, most likely not me....as we may remember how my grilling ended up last time....so who ever is interested in playing on the new BBQ) be grilling up hamburgers and BBQ chicken......probably around 3:00 ish.

Bring your own beverages, mixers, Rockstars, what ever......


oh, and we got a hold of Spice Boy....he said he was working Saturday but would drop by if he had time. Can you imagine Spice Boy on the drums

 

yeah. it would be zootender (+3....her two kids are probably just freaking out right now since they have rockband on P2...which doesn't have any downloadable content)....and ghost (+1....I sure hope Anna comes as she is probably the only one who can sing the two songs I downloaded which are in fricken German)

Spice Boy (+1 I would assume)....we got to meet up with Spice Boy a weekend back....when we was driving in from picking up his car in Arizona. Got to spend about 15 minutes with him or so before he continued his drive down to Santa Ana area for a job interveiw. Guess things worked out since he said he would be working Saturday......which possibly means he'll be around for sometime now.

 

Spiceboy called me a few weekends ago and said he was out in your area. He was supposed to call me when he got to Santa Ana but I didn't hear from him.
That would be awesome if he got the job and showed up on Saturday; he was always fun to have around.

Emilie just found out she has to work on Saturday so I'm not sure if I'm waiting for her to get off at 1:00 or if I'll head out there early to help with the grillin'.
I am quite good at bbq'ing (just ask the LAX crowd) so I can make myself useful.

It has been a long time since my last meet / cruise but i still had a great time and still met new faces! We had a lot of non rotary cars and a lot of non mazda cars but everything was just fine...well except for the police

we had a lot of red cars at the meet as well. 13 total cars which is right around average, and i think we lost will that day also.

no i'm not retiring wish i was that lucky.
one of the managers has over 40 years
he leaving this month..

 

i think i'm going to look into buying the rp supercat
this weekend. it's one more try to keep the car.
if it takes care of my heat problem, then who knows
i might keep the old bucket, and get the older miata
for work...
