ultra mobile PC; I don't see that lasting very long.

 

I was close. I've been shopping a carpc for the new Metra kit coming out.
Not sure if I'll use an Ultra-Portable, or a double-din setup.
Also, since it will free up my glovebox, I might just use a touchscreen and put the pc in the glovebox.
Plus, I still have an amp to install, and the cargo organizer I bought years ago.

BTW - I just spent some money on a new mod.
I think it will arrive Monday or Tuesday, and I'll install it that night.

I've thought about doing the Car PC, yanking out the Nav Screen in there now, adding a touch screen in the same location (hopefully it fits in there), and throwing the PC in the center holder between the rear seats.

GT5P is kinda fun

But I waisted my money on it and never play it.
There are not enough tracks to keep it exciting. And you get VERY few cars. The tweaking you can do is limited to tire changes and final drive gearing with a couple other automated adjustments.

If you want, you can borrow it. I can't imagine it will hold your interest for more than a couple days


Maybe I should bring my system and steering wheel to the party this weekend? Hmmmm!!!????
