GT5 review...I am happy to say, and sorry to say the 5 year wait was not worth it and it sounds as though Forza is still a better product is many aspects (I have not played it but see below).

On a side note a rock crasked my window dead center dash level, luckily it is only about a dime size or smaller crack. Didn't do any black friday shopping and spent $234 to fix our heater. Anything planned for the holiday meet? What has everyone els ebeen up to?

Winter runs would be great but...I rode my bicycle on GMR last week and saw some black ice near Baldy Village, low 40's. Went hiking in Baldy Village 19-18 degrees and icey trails.

Why me? why not hum....kevin or you or ...?

because you actually live in the SB area and you're one of the remaining "original" people left from this group.

Thanks for volunteering Loren!

am not getting GT5- never really liked it, as i thought Burn Out series were more fun, for a racing game...

was out in Beaumont this past weekend at my uncle's house & went boarding at Mt. High... i miss Idle Wylde... that's a really fun road. maybe in the spring time?

i can't make the SB meet on the 11th, but i'm going to try to go to Mt. High again this sat...

P.S. i know everyone loves the wall calendars but to save time what about a desktop A-Frame calendar (one picture only per month). It would be vertical. See attached for similar version.

i need a space ship "shield" for my car, like in star wars...

speaking of which, how are you liking FU2 Jorge? i played through the first 2 levels and it's pretty good so far. i like the new camera angles and the cinematics.

The meet was... a bit shocking. It was like -all- the import cars of San Gabriel showed up for it... <lol> I had no idea the 626 guys went through so much effort... There was a sushi truck, and parking was, a nightmare...

I ended up just staying for about 45 min, said hi to my friends, and then took off. I had to wake up at 7am to go riding in Azusa and GMR the next day, so I needed some shut eye...

where's cesar when u needs him?

i think a dell dimension or equivalent ought to work? i haven't bought a PC since 2001, and now that I've moved most of my gaming to the PS3 i don't plan on replacing my dell...
