the CAN Scan will read any car that runs the CANbus... which is not very many at this point.
the scanner is "universal". CANSCAN also made a gui that is for us RX-8 guys (the maker owns an RX-8) that gives you cool gauges and such.... you can use this if you wish.

Here's what I found out.
They use to make a
CANScan-USB
CANScan-RS232
ODBScan-USB
ODBScan-RS232
I have the CANScan-USB.
They no longer make any of these, and they only make the ODBScan-Apex.
The ODBScan-Apex is a universal scanner, and it has had some firmware upgrades.
The "free" upgrade is for ODBScan-Apex owners w/ older firmware.
I don't know much about CAN bus or ODBII, but I sounds like Loren needs an ODBII scanner.

You can contact Harrison R&D 281-751-8836 directly and ask if the CANScan-USB will work w/ your car.

no not the MAF, i cleaned vacumed around the fuel injectors and made sure everything was nice and night. i think i may need to step up to the NKG spark plugs as apposed to what i have as a next step.
