Morning everyone.
@Lesper -
I started a thread in our local neighborhood forum re: FiOS TV.
http://www.hunters-ridge.com/Forums/...ts.asp?TID=305
Could you take a look at what I wrote, and try calling the # I posted on the 4th post?
Tell verizon someone up the street from you signed up for the FiOS bundle w/ internet and TV and they have a $5 discount.
Don't give them my name or address incase it was a fluke. I don't want them to remove the discount.
I'm just trying to see if it real or not. One of the guys that posted there says they told him "no".

thanks curently we pay $70 i think for internet and cable (on cable) and $30? with verizon phone. i am sure mirna wodul love to have internet, cable phone and wireless all on one bill if possible. $75 does sounds like a great deal and you get direct TV instead.
(i am not referrring to fios though) i will see if mirna can call or she can grant access for me since she is the primary contact on the contract.

I'm just curious what they will say to you if you call.
You don't need to order it now, I'm just trying to find out if they are actually taking pre-orders for FiOS TV.
Many people in our area are anxiously awaiting FiOS TV.

Just thought I would post this snippet from a local Whittier paper...referencing a bond measure the 82 registered voters passed in the City of Industry...
...About a third of the money would go toward improvements around a proposed National Football League stadium slated to be built on 600 hilly acres near the 57/60 freeway intersection, according to Mayor Dave Perez.
here is more of the article for those interested...

The EIR report (enviremental inpact report) factually states that the gmaes will cause way less traffic problems then a business center. and after all LA is dense but the subrubs are packed with people. i think it is a great place especially with the new arena in ontario no matter how small.

anybody have a spare HDMI cable they can sell me for cheap? i need one for my 360.
i just got my new TV set up last night and my TV doesn't accept sound when going through the PC connection, i've been using the VGA converter for my 360 which has audio R/L output jacks, but my TV doesn't apparently use any audio when connected through the PC connection.
