Most of the time, a single song is 160 points. or $1.99
That's assuming you're buying your points from MS directly, or paying regular retail price.
Last time I bought points, I paid much less than retail, so I bought two 4000points cards.

Tech support for xbox was a girl that sounded like she's from California.
Didn't sound like it was out-sourced to India, and she didn't say generic statements from a script.
It sounded like a real person, with the ability to think for themselves.
Kind of refreshing if you've ever dealt w/ any tech support.

Woot off ends at 10pm pacific. (it's midnight their time)
They always end at 10pm, whether it's a Woot-off or regular woot.

everytime I've called for xbox live support, sounds like I've got the same guy from India each time, or maybe Indians sound all the same ("no racist")......maybe it is like how all asians looks alike ("no racist"), and how all Hispanic boys with the name "Angel",are really no angels at all (again, "no racist").

speaking of ghost....he called me and said that he dropped his car off at the dealership...so we'll have to wait patiently this holiday season to see what Ghost gets in his stocking. A new Renesis would be much better than a lump of apex seal bits and pieces.

got his car back to stock form? Lets hope Santa doesn't find out that he was naughty this year.

+1 on India Call Centers. EVERY TIME I call Dell Tech support, guess where the call goes?
What kills me is how overly polite they are and how they try and be TOO thorough in the sense that they talk to you like a 5 year old.
I just use their "chat' function instead, it's easier to ignore them that way when they ask stupid questions.

I love the fact that they have scripts that basically have them repeat back everything you say to them......example.

Tech Support "Thanks for calling how may I help you"
Chicken "I have three red flashing lights on my xbox360"
Tech Support "So let me understand if I understand the problem you are experiencing with your Xbox 360, you say you have three red flashing lights"
Chicken "Yeah, again...I've had this problem now with three of my consoles"
Tech Support "Sorry to hear that you've had this problem on three of your consoles....let me take you through some steps so we can diagnose the problem you are having with your xbox 360".......etc.

reminds me of something I say in an urban dictionary posting of an IM robot...let me see if I can find it. It was really funny because it basically acts like a person, but is scripted to respond to almost any comment.

^^^That's what I expected, but nothing like that happened.
That's what it sounds like when I call Dishnetwork for issues.

Anyways, the girl I talked had a normal conversation and talked to me like we would talk to each other if you called me for pc help.

Not true at all.
Americans were buying SUV's and wouldn't stop.

Now as CEO I'm gonna tell the stock holders I'm going to cut back production by 2/3rds on SUV's and make economy cars.

He wouldn't have a job considering SUV's are three times the profit and Americans won't buy economy cars.

Recession and oil prices went up and guess what?

It's all due to Indy Mac and all the bank failures from them making bad loans.

In fact I have talked to many people that want to buy a car but they can't get a loan.

****** Fu#er!!!!! I just had to get my car towed home!!!!!!!!!

having the center display light up like a Christmas tree, your power stearing, ABS, and Traction control all turn off while doing 80 mph is not a good thing.

I have a slight problem. I think that my exhaust is having a slight problem. When revved the exhaust on one side would have a puff of smoke. any ideas?
