Nope. Fix-it ticket will be handled on the last possible day.
That way, if I get stopped again between now and then, I can say I already have
a ticket for it, and I'm in the process of correcting it.
CHP fix-it ticket can be signed off by either CHP or a real cop.
I called CHP before for a fix-it ticket, and found out that Yes, real police, as in San
Bernardino Police Dept or any other Police Dept can sign off the fix-it ticket.
They told me other agencies don't like to sign off tickets, but they can do it.
I know several people that work for LAPD.
I'll probably have one of them sign it off for me.

Yes, other agencies will sign of some violations, but will generally charge you a "processing fee" to have them use their time to sign off a form for another agency. What a crock...it is the same guy who sits at the main desk just sitting their who will write it off. He is already being paid and you're not taking him away from doing his job.
These "processing fees" do vary from agency to agency. But in any event, it is cheaper than driving out to Vegas to get it signed off.

I'm not sure where all the confusion started, but my ticket was from CHP.
As in, California Highway PITA.
People are asking about going to where the ticket was issued.
It was issued in California.

hey now, the meets would be the same if the RX-8 guys would show up. in revcent months we have been having some of the best RX-7 turn outs since we have started the meet. (add to it the Evo and slowbalt, and the other Evo and the other Evos frind the Scion TC) and therehave been an average of 10 cars at every meet (other then the last one for some treason).... thoug we did have a new RX-8 show up, so that was sweet!
anywho, just wanted to give you guys crap.
and hi Xrider.

So I woke up Cesar this morning at 3:30 am. I figured it would be a good idea because my neighbor did the same to me a few minutes eariler. Any way we had a fire in the area and I wasn't sure what the conditions were like so I let him know. Turns out it was pretty small and blowing the other direction, but better safe then sorry. The fire was only about a block and a half from Cesar's house and 3 from mine.

haha...
For the record, you called me at 3:10am and proceeded to insue panic at my household.
The fire started on the foothills above my house, .5 miles away.
Almost 1 mile from your house. (Corner of Foxborough and Stageline)
Fortunately, the lovely Santa Ana winds moved it West, away from my house.
At 6:30 this morning it was about 1 mile away and further than that from your house.

was listening to the news this morning and thought, "OH ****! That sounds like it's near Cesar's house"
Must have been fun times in the Cesar household at 3:10 this morning.
