San Bernardino monthly Mazda meet and drive.
dunno if it's $1100 for all 4 or each. if it's each, then **** it. i can think of better things to spend $4,400 on. but, if for all 4 i'm very seriously thinking about it.
my car has no mods yet, and i think this would be a nice start.

Detrich, are these the 19s or 18s?....and what finish?
Loren....awsome, now you have the email with some fo the additional builds, hit me up when you're ready for an Audi R8, Renault Turbo or Saturn Sky. You'll also have access to the F50 GT and CCGT..amazing cars.

they are basically the 2009 rx-8 stock 18" wheels. i would prefer the stock R3 19"s, but so far no one is parting with those- plus i'm guessing they might be pricey?
does he mean $1100 per wheel or am i daydreaming he's asking that for all 4?

it's for all 4, that's a good price.
Buy them and sell yours for a few hundred, the net result is you get new wheels which you like very much for a GREAT price and newer tires

just wait till you see the price tag on my next mod for my car.
Lets do some math here:
$1,100 for wheels
- $500 for your stock wheels
you're looking at only $600 for new wheels AND virtually BRAND new tires. Tires alone are usually about $100 each on our car so if you factor that in, you're really getting a good deal.
In comparison, the wheels that Shinka213 got retail for $900 each

oh no jorge. what did u buy? inquisitive minds need to know!
^ true true... well, i guess i'll wait for him to tell me if there's any curb rash and then see how much he'll sell them for. (he's not including the tires.)
i kinda wanted to keep my stocks to have a spare set. i guess i could rob the tpms' off my stocks to save $400. then it would just be the cost of new tires.
decisions, decisions...

he is probably getting wheels but they are probably 4 times that price. Then again he said he is not upgrading thsi till his current rubber wears out.
FI FTW!

Loren has a good memory! I'll show you guys teaser pics as soon as the stuff arrives, coming from Japan so could take some time.
detrich: damn, didn't realize he was keeping the tires. No worries, just have a tire shop dismount your current tires, put the TPMS on the new wheels, and move the tires over. It'll cost you about $100 or so for a tire shop to do it. America's tire company usually offeres lifetime balancing / rotating as well for a little bit more.
I say do it! I know you've liked those wheels for some time, you always take such meticulous car of your car, it'll be nice to have something new on there that you know will last you a while.
Lets just hope the wheels are in good shape.
