San Bernardino monthly Mazda meet and drive.
u will have plenty to do once you close jake...trust me. home remodeling is both fun, but also like a never-ending chore. once u start, it's like opening pandora's box- to your time, your bank account, and your sanity. during our remodeling, i lost 15 lbs and god knows how much hair. we're still not completely done either. but, the bulk of the inside stuff is done.
but, once it's done and u can put your feet up and enjoy the fruits of your labor, you'll be smiling ear-to-ear.

So I just got the email, and the meeting is a little later today.
It looks like our company will be offering a severance package to anyone who wants to leave. They are going to cut back the force by 500 employees. So those who take the offer, get a little bonus for leaving. And if less than 500 people leave, then the firing begins.
This ought to be interesting

damn. sorry to hear that jake. what are u going to do? i'm in the same boat- am here til the end of august. but, i'm paid thru january 2009. the job market really sucks right now and will probably get worse until january.
stressful times ahead. thanks again mr. george chimp bush!
I can care less.
If they give me $$$ to leave, I will spend the next couple months fixing up the house. I would have a house that will be all dialed in because I can focus on the house, not the job.
I am sure it would be tough finding a big paying job right now, but my monthly nut is low on purpose. I have planned for this since I was 18. So just in case something bad were to happen, I can still continue with the same lifestyle I have always enjoyed.

Sunday went food shopping for the frist time in like 3 weeks (since we got back from vacation) and did a 46 mile bike ride on my new bike (did i say it has carbon fiber on it!).

As an architect, I would think you'd like earthquakes. Shows the structural integrity of the building you're in.
Plus, it's real world testing on structures you've designed.
i thought dark knight was really good. but, seriously, if i have to hear one more person compulsively blab on-and-on about how awesome it is, i think i'm going to lose it...
look- i get it. it was really good. but, ppl went coo koo and went to see it over & over & over and made WB a gazillion $'s.

Architects want buildings to stand up, earthquakes try to bring them down, they are my arch rival! Yeah i saw they reduced it, they always do.
