hmm... i think u should at least bring the car to the next SB meet and have some of the guys test drive and give u some feedback.

i drove my 8 last week and for some reason felt it was slightly sluggish too. but, it was really hot that day too.

yeah, the media is having a field day with it, even recycling quotes they used 2 weeks ago. Newspaper sales must be slow...

No bank branches are being affected.

We just finalized the sale of 60 offices in Southern California but they are all lending offices that we acquired from American Home Mortgage last year (when they went BK)

Hey, what's the story on the Vegas run in August?
Is there a thread I missed somewhere?

I was in Vegas over the weekend. Called Phils8 to get some video poker tips.
Ended up playing some 3-play Draw Poker.
Had a very good weekend. Came home w/ everything paid for (and I spend a ton of money especially on show tickets) and still had $400 extra.
Thanks Vegas and thanks Phil.

Anyways, when I talked to him he mentioned he went on a run w/ some of the guys to find a good spot for us when we go out there.

And, most importantly, is ProjectSE3P going to be there?
I'd love to see what this guy looks like in person.

i might drive down to the shop. but i need to find out what time
jorge and i are going to work on the car before i commit to the run.
it has to be the heat though. i have taken the engine cover off,
and cut a piece of the rubber molding off in the middle where the hood
sets. there's a vent there, my guess it's to let heat out. but i look at the molding
and there was no way heat could go out that vent with the hood closed,
so i cut about 8 inches off..

didn't hang out w/ him. Just talked on the phone. He said he was out at 5 or 6am to check the run.
I think I got to bed around 4am, so by the time I talked to him, he was heading home from the casino to go to sleep.

@michael
I tried shifting into 3rd at 40 on the way home.
It's not that bad. RPM's were at 4k. It's actually fine.
Your car should definitely pull at that speed in 3rd.

voyager is a nice phone, kinnda big and clunky though. The touch screen is nice and VZ's navigator isn't too shabby. (emilie uses it on her phone)

No hacking the Voyager.
The Navigation is a monthly service fee, but I'm not sure how much.
The internet is a monthly fee of $45. And, you still have to pay for phone service.
You really should consider a Sprint Touch on the SERO plan like I have.
However, the offer expires 7/13/08, and it will be harder to get onto afterwards, and it will be more expensive.
You could always sign up, and try it for 30days. If you like it, you're set, if not just cancel.

If you're really considering the Voyager, check out the Samsung Instinct on Sprint.
You can get a pretty good plan for $70 or unlimited everything for $100.
It has one of the best Nav softwares. The interface is awesome. It's a little smaller than the Voyager. As far as technology, it blows the Voyager away, and I think it's cheaper.
Personally, I think SERO is your best bet. It's hard to beat $30 a month for 500 minutes and unlimited everything else.
