do they just retrofit the tracks of the moonroof or replace the entire piece? i replaced my glass recently, tho i haven't noticed any rattle. but, then again, i didn't pay that close attention.

yup, it's unfortunately not a quick fix. they need to remove part of the headliner and take out the entire tracks for the sunroof. I had to leave mine overnight as well.

 

paint what kind of paint are you getting and what are you painting, remember i run a apaint store. house paint people, so if you have any ?? it's ok to ask me. plus i'm on vacation again. i need something to do. heck i'll even drive out sometime next week and look at it with you... i'm taking two weeks off, so out side of cleaning my floors at home all i'll be doing is sleeping...

 

my bad the cruise is this saturday already! wow i thougth it was next. We should have possesion of our home monday (maybe) and yes we need to paint it. havent decided on colors but we need to measue how much we need. Cesar suggested Frazee i was looking a lowes and home depot paint, what do you suggest? I may just scoep out all the price and items we need this weekend so we can start next week sometime.

well i work for ICI paints. you could get frazee but i could get you my price on the stuff you need. alot of people have the brands they like, but i've been doing this for 17 years plus i'm a manager. if your hire a painter or do it yourself trust me i can help, even if you don't go with my brand. you just don't want slap paint on, a good paint job could last you 15 years just by what you do before you paint....

I finally did it. I told my old job to go F themselves! 5 of us left on the same day. You should have seen it . . . . All of us in the middle of the showroom ( Toyota Dealer ) yelling at the top of our lungs. Chaos I tell ya . . .chaos!!!
So now I am at a motorcycle store for a while. But that means I will be working weekends.

i came down w/something. got hold of me really quick too. first night i was feeling some shivers, next day i had a fever. went to work feeling like crap. got home, took some medicine and knocked out until like 9pm. when i woke up, i was feeling good again. went to pechanga...didn't win anything though.....but when i got back home, the fever came back. went to sleep again, and i'm feeling like crap still. now i got a stuffy/runny nose, and whole bunch of coughing....zoi

 

They are selling the store, so to boost profit on paper, they cut everyones commission without telling us. Payday came around and surprised a lot of people. I guess several mechanics left too. All hell broke loose. Busted vehicles, pissed mechanics, lawsuits from customers and employees. . . . . You know . . . the standard dealership BS.

 

dang. sounds like u guys did the right thing to bail then.

Thanks for all the info on any gas conservation. I wasn't to really concern about the gas. I knew from the beginning that it wasn't going to be like you guys said a prius. But I was still interested in seeing if there was any tricks to on saving gas, beside driving slow and not driving for a while. I just thought there was something I can change in the engine, like the tubes or something. Eeh, when is your guys next meet? I looked at the calendar and I hope it's not the 14th, I'll be out of town. What is also the seven stock? Is it another meet?

omg, i almost passed out earlier today. yesterday i drank like 10 17oz. bottles of water and i've been taken a whole bunch of nyquil. that stuff works great if you're having an insomnia attack! .
