I am planning on the beach bbq as well. I'm kinda in agreement with Lesper on postponing the meet til the following week and cruise down to the beach together? Or then again, we could alwasy do both

I took my car in to get the recall done and the service guys said it's better if we dont do it yet, because the techs dont know how to solve the problem yet.

well, the meet is going as planned...... its better that we keep it on the second saturday every month, so in case someone shows up who is unaware of the postponing doesnt get butthurt!! but the bbq sounds kinda fun i agree with doing both!

I MAY NOT be at the Rancho Cucamonga Caravan - My car just went in for service because the check engine light is on (FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK)--- so, now i have a rental car and i'm not planning on taking it through the cruise... but... i can probably come to the meet, and maybe i can ride with someone else or something... I dont know when I'll be getting my car backI hope i get my car back in time for the meet.

yeah krazie, on my 92 240sx the check engine light came on every summer(all summer) from 2001 till I got my 8. it came on i would drive it, get it fixed the next day and it would be on the following day or week..... and on again ...... and again not to mention something with a slugish/stoppy accerlator (it would just die). Good luck with your car i am sure it is not the same. Too bad you cant get an 8 loaner.

Vipers, as Cesar stated, i was not there on sunday, this is why my cars picture was not taken.
Scotty, i do not see the brown FC.

8 cars total showed up, quite a few no shows, but i kind of expected this to be a smaller meet. we tried to go up to forest falls, but it was just to busy. so we turned around and came back. we found a nice hang out sot and stayed there for a few min. then we all went to look at my drag car since we were in the area.
after that we all went to A&W. wish i could have stayed longer, but i had to go.
all in all it was short but fun. i just wish i had stayed longer, and we really need to find a better drive. one that is not packed with cars on the weekends (yeah right) and one that is near San Bernardino. (no one wants to drive an hour just to start the fun run, then drive another hour or more back home.)
anyways, thanks everohne for coming, event hough it was short i still hadd fun. :D
