- New Year's ROCKED!! I spent it up in San Luis Obispo hanging out with a bunch of Chuck Liddell's friends and watched the Chuck fight on the 30th. Gee, can't tell I'm a big UFC fan, can you?
going great. i've been really busy as well. Full time work, full time school, and yea.... ......i'm busy.

my x-mas was alright. did most of my shopping about a week before x-mas. Better than two years ago when i did all my shopping like two days before

New years was ok. The day after new years was better .

eVGA is going good for me still. I'm coming up on my 90 day here in about a week or so. Methinks i'll be keeping the job, but not sure. hopefully i do, otherwise, i'm back to square one =\.

If all goes well, I'm planning on moving out and be on my own by the end of the year. Before i move out though, i plan on getting me a new car, thinking about a Scion TC or a 2001ish Honda Accord two door, upgrading my computer....again . And like i said, if all goes well, by the end of 2007, i should have my own pad .

that's awesome X-Rider, I'm glad to hear that everything is going good with you. You'll be happy to know that I'm still rocking an eVGA 6800 in my desktop. I think my motherboard can run dual cards so I might be getting another one soon...

Sounds like you've got great plans ahead of you and I wish you luck with everything. Make sure you post pics when you get your car. I don't know why but I've got a softspot for TC's. I just think they're kinnda sporty and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

yea, of course i'll put up pix of my next ride. I do want a TC, but it needs to have the spoiler, otherwise it looks girly IMO. I was also thinking about a Lexus IS300 . and the Accord i like is the 2 door like i said, but it needs the v6. That's just what i'm saying now, we'll see what i end up getting later.

and for the gfx card upgrade, a single 7950GT will out perform a pair of 6800GTs by a significant margin .

be sure to register your product, if you don't know what to do, hit me up, or call 1-888-881-3842 24/7 and any one the tech reps can help out .

YEAH, my laptop runs a 7900 and it's just frustrating to see it outperform my desktop.

lol. that's how it is. the only thing i don't like about lappys is that they are still run at 5400RPMs. Some of them are at 7200RPMs, but then, what's the point of a laptop aside from it being a desktop replacment

mine runs at 7200. I had to get a smaller HD to get the speed but I thought it was worth it since my desktop has plenty of spare room.

Damn, now I'm looking at that 7950 card. Oh, and a new tower...

you should look at the eVGA 8800 cards if you got that kinda mulah. But, having an 8 and being able to afford all that zaino, you should be able to get one of these, right . lol.

well, whatever the case, the 8800 cards, even the the cheaper of the two, will outperform two of those 7950GTs that you are now considering . But then again, it's also more expensive. Just thought you should consider that card if you are considering getting a new system.

i'm sure i can help you out if you'd like. hit me up. got my digits still? if not here ya go: 909-518-4436.

[QUOTE=Jedi54]DAMN!!! That's one crazy video card!

yes it is. that thing kicks everything's @$$ right now. One of the GTX cards will kick the butt of the previous gen flagship cards in SLI, the 7950 GX2.

Shoot, honestly, my employee discount sucks . The price difference is only like $5 cheaper than what i would be paying on NewEgg .
