Well if you look at the engine mount location on a subaru, they the same lay out as the FD. And the FD motor has the best motor mount for motor swap because they are on the bottom not the side like every other 13B or in the front. The other thing I have to do reaserch is, being AWD and lack of torque will be a problem to get the car off the line.

i got a 2 quotes already today- both for around $350 to repaint the entire hood- cuz none of the body shops i talked to are willing to do just "touch-up" work. but, repainting the entire things seems like such overkill... in the meantime, i ordered an rx-8 nose mask from alhambra mazda today for $108, and it should get here in 3 days. so, at least for next month's meet i'll have some freaking body armor, baby!
actually, considering all the mods u guys do, $350 really is not that much, by comparison. but, i'm still very torn. "to paint or not to paint," that is the question of the week... hehehehe (i'm actually crying on the inside.)

yup, turn the key to the "on" position and QUICKLY tap the break pedal 20 times. You'll know it worked when you see the oil pressure guage sweep all the way from one direction to the other
no way man, that's:
Up up, down, down, left, right, left, right, Start. Major bonus points to whoever remembers that one!
Michael: Just make sure you turn the key enough to get all the display lights to come on and then start tapping that brake pedal like crazy

Contra?
The break tapping thing resets the ECU...so you start all over with the air/fuel...over time, the computer adjusts this based on your driving habits. It is good to do when you do things to your car....I think these guys all got superchargers...or at least were looking at one this weekend....so how goes the Supercharger?
i'll give it another try. if i can't get it. next time i see you i'll let you jump in the driver side and watch a pro go to work ..
. ........ plus i'll let you know how things go this friday... if they work out good maybe you'll be next????

jorge & michael> what are u guys trying to do? haruken? lol...
rick> nice picts & nice subaru...
btw, got my nose mask this weekend... didn't realize this thing requires actual screws to install. lol.. (my lazy *** doesn't want to have to do that!) anyhow. i'll play with it after i wash my car next time. also, the langka stuff really doesn't work the way they say it does. it's basically just a solvent that safely removes the touch up paint that u smear without damaging the factory paint job. the entire "wipe on wipe off" claim is a crock. i'm still experimenting, but i think the only way it would really work is if u leave the touch up paint on for several days so it really hardens and bonds, and then gently swab the surface of the area with langka to smooth out the texture of the surface. we'll see...

Okay, maybe not... It's to reset the short term memory on your cpu. (like Keith said)

2nd fuel management system has now been installed (concurrent with Interceptor) and tuning is resuming very soon. From my experiences with FI, I am very impressed with this SC and am curious to see how it unfolds.
