Meeting at 9:00 should be fine there. I'll go ahead and let my friend know to go east on the 210 then and exit Fruit...and to be there around 9 as well. He has a beige Nissan Sentra Spec-V. Hi guys new to the Area. I just moved here from South Carolina. I just went through the 46 pages of this and it seem to be fun. I'm thinking of going to the next meet if I can (I still getting settling in) so if you guys see a white one stock looking exept for lowering and Revi intake with Ohio plates, that be me.

It'll be my first time going to this meet but you should make it on Sunday. It looks like it is going to be a good sized group and you can hopefully make some new friends.

Just meet us @ the mobil station in the morning (Since you live pretty close to there anyways)

 

I hope you had a chance to check out some of the vieo links as well. Yes, you will have fun. Make sure you make it ot this one, looks like it will be one of the bigger meets.

It would be nice to have thosewho checked in earlier, to let us know whether they are coming or not. I know I will be there, and I should be bringing Lepser4, Red22, and PaultheNissanguy with me. Snowfl8k will not be coming though.

I'm trying to get more guys from the San Bernardino thread to come. Speeddemon has indicated a strong interest in coming, but something always seems to come up. Carribeanspice boy has expressed interest as well.

I hope your joking dude....you're coming right? Or are you gonna scratch out again? You only live once...and there is only one November 6th this year. Like I put it to the San Bernardino folks. We are approaching rain season, and this may be one of the last glorious weekends we have for a couple of months. The weather is going to be perfect...what would you rather be doing?

I have a party saturday night, so it depends on how coherent I am sunday morning. Sounds like this will be the best meet yet.

 

If anyone knows, is this about the same intesity as Ortega Hwy-74?

 

Last time I drove Ortega was prob 3 years ago...so can't really remember that well but from what I remember I think its more intense, we drive various style of roads such as fast sweepers, roads with lot of tight corners....I can guarentee it will be fun. Are you comming?

 

not sure. I have to go Irvine and then to Murrieta then back here on Sat. depending how I feel for driving.

 

There is always a lot of excitement the days leading up to one of these meets. Lot of people want to come and experience it for the second, third, fourth time, but there are those new comers that become too nervous about showing up, and they flake out.

I brought a friend one time, and he ended up leaving his car behind and he sat in the passenger seat with me. He was scared that he wouldn't be able to keep up, or that he wasn't a skillful driver. He was very dissapointed at the end of the day that he didn't actually drive himself. He came the next month and had a smile from ear to ear at our first stop on Stunt, and was almost overwhelmed by the time we hit lunch at the coast.

He's come three times now.

Moral of the story, I know a lot of the new people are thinking too much about this, and get to the point where they just are too nervous to show up. I would say come, and if you feel too nervous to drive the first time, sit as a passenger, and then you might feel better aboutt he second meet.

And as a reminder, we always keep everyone in our rear view mirror. This way, you can watch how the person in front of you takes a corner, what speed they are add, when they start breaking, and so on. Just make sure you leave plenty of room between you and the car infront, and in back of you. These are public roads and we need to be aware of those that are on the roads with us. There are a lot of motorcycle and cycle riders, as well as other car clubs up there, all doing the same thing.

I hope to see more new faces, and some of them ugly ones from last time .

People...Stop worrying so dam much! From day one, I have made sure Everyone keeps up, knows the route, and has fun...and I have never lost a man yet! (Though we came close once, But we ALL turned around to find him - "ahem" Micahel ) And i haven't heard any complaints yet. So, Just show up! You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain!
