I think the next date that was thrown around was the 6th of November. I think this was Xped's suggestion.

SO IS THE NOV 6TH OFFICIAL?

I am planning on going are you Keith, I have never been so I would like to follow someone out there. Also, Keith did you notice anything different as far as performance with the new tires (wider & bigger) compared to the last run you went on in Malibu?

Yes, I am going. Don't know whether Snowfl8k is or not, but we'll have to see. We can meet up off the 210 somewhere. We can figure that out later. I usually leave the house around 830 or so to make it there by 10:00.

Yes, the 6th.

Definately gripped a lot better, but then again, my tires were pretty bald. The nuetral feel of the car is gone...is understeers now into the corners. Definately took some getting used to. But then when I was chasing the Ferrari, all was fine .

Check the first page for the Las Virgenes address of the Mobil gas station.

Pm Addictive...he's the thread leader. Xped is another one of the original members along with me.

For those too lazy to check first page:
4830 Las Virgenes Rd
Calabasas, CA 91302-1945, US

YIKES, I just mapquested it -
Total Est. Time: 1 hour, 11 minutes Total Est. Distance: 69.84 miles
(Now I know what Keith goes through every month...)

This will be my first time going so I'm hoping it'll be a good turnout.
Anyone else coming from OC / LA area?

73.24 miles.......1 hour 12 minutes. I guess I win.

at 20 miles per Gallon = 3.662 gallons (gas used) at $2.93 (dollars per gallon for 91 octane) = $10.73 one way. But well worth it.

So is 9:30AM the time we're meeting?

Without traffic, it's about a 35 minute drive for me to the Mobile station. I mountain bike at the Malibu Creek State Park during the summer- which is about 10 minutes away from Las Virginas exit off the 101.

10:00..we usually leave by 10:30.....just in case people are running late or catch heavy traffic on the way over.

Lesper and I were going to meet somewhere off the 210, I would assume at whatever cross street he lives closest to. Red, let's go ahead and meet at that Chevron, or mayve at the exit of Cherry and the 210..whichever would be convenient. I don't know whether or not Snowfl8k is going, but I do expect my friend Paul to come as well, so it may be the four or five of us cruising down there together.

Addictive, sure sounds like a big meet this time. We may need to break into two smaller groups with two pack leaders so that we don't get held up at stop signs. I felt alright leading the group last time...maybe you could come up with some routes, and maybe we could get someone to bring a two way radio/walkie talkie.....

I have no problem with that...
My concern is that we will not fit at the Mobil. Maybe we should relay to the starbucks parking lot accross the street...remember where we ended up like the 2nd or 3rd time we went?

If anyone has a 2way please bring it!!
Keith, if you need to, call me. I will PM my #

So do you want to meet up at the starbucks parking lot? I think that would be better too...
