I beleive it may be code 1024.3, mine's been going off as well. It's alright though...its just the car getting excited about Malibu.............woooooooohoooooooooo, see you tomorrow.

 

I have a code scanner, but I dont know if even works on our cars though because I've never had a CEL to test it on. I'll have it with me tomorrow. I'm in a base White '05 with the factory chrome wheels.

Here's some pics, some taken by me, and others taken by my journalist intern.

 

The morning went well. Everyone was on time...well, almost everyone . We were 12 strong today. A great turn out.

 

Our first run up to Stunt road was a great warm up. It gave us an idea of how best to set up our order. As you can see, gaps in the line make a difference. The smaller the gaps, the quicker the pace. Thanks to Addictive for leading most of the way, and allowing me a chance to lead for a while too.

 

Thanks to those who cruised over with me, Snowfl8k, Lesper4 and Red22.

Others that attended included AddictiveRX, Xped, Jedi, Gereal, Micahel, HondasareforKids, me (Kwescott), RXSaxman, ...who did I leave out. I missing one person cause I got 11, I know we had 12.....
looking at post below, it looks like I left out Detrich (he was number 12). sorry bout that Gerry.

 

Our run back from Neptines was more problematic. We got split for awhile, reunited and split again. More highway patrol, some slow motorcyles, and a motorcycle crash. Not the best way to end the run...but all was safe for us. You guys did a great job of keeping track of your mirrors and keeping everyone safe. Hope to see you guys again next time, if weather permits.

Of course, I'm anxious to see the video and everyone's pics.

 

It was fun meeting lots of you guys / gals today. I had a BLAST learning all about my car's performance capabilities.

All the cars still look so shiny...they definitely won't look like this later.

 

Sure were a lot of motorcycles hogging up the parking spaces.

No worries, we took the liberty of parking on the side of the road.

Time to chow down some food and get ready for the second half of our day.
Now if only we could have had some...

After tearing up the mountains some more, we finished up the day @ the McDonald's parking lot off Las Virgenes.
