Addition of suspension upgrades such as springs, shocks, and high performance tires add additional stress to the chassis which results in chassis flex. GREDDY strut bars improve chassis rigidity and reduce flex. By using a monocoque aluminum shaft, high strength and rigidity is gained without unnecessary weight gain. Bars are also adjustable on both ends.

 

So, what's going on with everybody? Nobody posts here, this thread is like dead. No wonder there is no meets, people barelly make the effort to post on here. But, besides your RX8, what else you do you guys do with your spare time?

 

i have a wife to attend to most if the time....just like going out getting drunk, eating..i love movies i just got a new job at the Wynn at Christian Dior so any girls want a purse come see me there or any guys wanna buy their girl one come see me too

 

We live in a town where there is more to do that time to do it. We all have to make a living and that old 8 hour day is a thing in the past. I work at my business 12-14 hours per day, have a wife that demands quality time from me, other toys that require time just to keep up. You have a little meet on a weekend, early and If I'm in town, I will attend. I'll go ahead and submit this because I need to change my "signature" as a package has just arrived from Pettit.

 

i ask you guys to go to meets but none of you guys show up.

 

why dont we arrange one then? and everyone who says they will be there def be there

we can start by going to the vegas drift meet at china town thats every thursday and starts at 10pm.

 

I usually go to the WOW meet on thursdays...its like 3 seconds from work...

Other than that I'm glad to hear you got your Pettit S/C finally. You gotta take pictures and post them up. Also, I would love to possibly come and check it out in person, if you have time some day.

I have partners but yes I started the business 11 years ago.

Yup - I have the first shipped Pettit s/c but still do not have the directions for install. Cam is putting together the instructions and will email them soon. It will most likely be another week or so before we get it installed. As soon as I get it installed and tuned, you'd be welcome to check it out.

Why change your user name? Do you have older rotarys? I'm sure we'll meet up soon.

 

I'd definitely come to the meet to see the first S/C'd rx8 in Las Vegas. Phil you have similiar mods as me so I'd like to hear your car first hand when its done.

You're a Mechanical Contractor, right? What exactly do you do there that takes 12-14 hours of your life? But, moving on to the next subject.. Did you pay for the Pettit S/C, or did you receive it for free, to be a test mule?? I say that in a nice way, too! You gotta do me favor, and take pictures of all the parts that you get with the S/C. But, I will definitely have to come by and check that beast out in person, once you get it all installed & tuned. Of course I'm gonna want a ride, too!

 

We have enough people to do official RX-8 meets, I just don't see why we don't have them. I use to do all those other meets before, it's not the same as RX-8 meets. I'm the only one that's been trying to get this member list finished up, get everybody's information so we can contact them other ways besides the RX8Club forum. As I have said earlier, you set the date and time and I'll try and make it. Take a consensis from the locals and see what is the best time, best day, best area, best activity and best theme. It's been my past experience that a little theme or activity will get more responce than just parking and talking. Even a poker run with a ending at a Pizza parlor might get a sizeable turn out. Charge a few dollars and give it as the prize for the best poker hand. There are many different ways of having a meet. Maybe one of the local 8 owners is a drifter and would be willing to show others how to drift. I'll start it out with my choices:

Best time: After 8pm
Best day: Saturday
Best area: Southwest
Best activity: Any thing that requires driving
Best theme: All

 

For some reason I missed this post. Yes I paid - I'll go by the mechanics house and see if I can get pictures of the parts but I do know that we are planning on taking pictures of each stage of installation. You got a ride as soon as it's complete - not sure about letting you drive it since I saw the picture of your wheel LOL

i hate cleaning my car in this city sometimes, because of all the construction. There is always something being built somewhere i have to go. I usually have to drive down Frank Sinatra too and you cant help but driving through some dirt.
