Good pics. I hope you do get a meet started. My 8 is down for a couple of weeks so if you have it I'll have to come in a jeep or company p/u. Charles R. Hill was not able to complete the s/c install and will return in a couple to do so. Noguni came by and met Ray and hung with us for a few hours. I had a whole group of the Arizona owners over on Sunday to pick up Ray and run him to Phoenix to look for a shop location. All in all a memory filled fun weekend meeting other RX8 enthusiasts.

 

I just thought that I'd offer this locally first, my Racing Beat REVi can not be used with my super charger install. So for $250.00 first come first serve. I will not put this on the f/s forum unless I do not get any response locally. The REVi is in good condition and I still have the install sheets with it. If interested just answer on the forum or PM me.

New Rx8 Owner here im driving an 04 Rx8 Silver 6speed.
Just bought it a lil bit over a week ago from United Suzuki/Mitsubishi.

I was actually looking around for a 350z and came up on the rx8, i had never driven one or even looked at one closely so i decided to check it out.

i loved the interior and the exterior looks so i took it for a test drive,
couple hours later i drove home with it.

hope to meet some of you/see you guys driving around.

hopefully some kind of rx8/rotary meet gets setup.

im ussually out with the nv240 guys

I sold my truck but decided to wait on the 2008 model to see what changes (colors, I know...) there will be. Should only be another 30-60 days.

So for now I'm driving a 1999 Chevy S-10 ! I know, you're all jealous

We are completing the s/c install on Sunday (7/1) so if you have a meet this weekend I will not be able to make it. If every thing goes OK then I'll post for a meet 7/7/06 or 7/8/06 so that any who are interested can see a Pettit s/c and a Interceptor X combination. Any that are interested be sure an post so I can contact you for the meet.

 

Oh I was just asking if anyone did meet or not. I did not see any one post.

down by the valley automall there is a place called the hot rod grill, its a nice restaruant totally surrounded by auto shops. There is a shop in that little area for just about anything u need done to your car, paint, tint, engine work...everything. I dont know the streets so try lookin it up on mapquest. i see lotuses and other nice cars around there gettin stuff installed.

Hey everyone! I will headed out that way 7-28-07 through 8-1-07. I am taking my daughter out there for a dance workshop @ the Flamingo. I will be in my 8 and was wondering if you guys had anything going on those days and also if you could recomend some thing for me to do during those days while she is has her dance classes.

 

I know what you can do with your extra time, Go see a O or Phantom. I'm kinda low on cash right now and wont be doing any meets that involve spending lol

 

I ran over a nail or something yesterday, the head protruding out at least 1/4 of an inch or more. I couldn't pull it out, and certainly couldn't drive it in that condition. It happened less than a mile from home, fortunately.

Having no spare tire, I called the roadside assistance and ended up having to have the car towed to Peoples. The sad thing is, the tire needs to be replaced and is on order because the dealership, and according to them, nobody else in town carries the stock tires. I don't know if this is a normal thing for the dealership not to carry them, but I'm hoping the replacement will be in overnight. Sad thing is, the car has less than 11,000 miles and because it's was "an act of God"--I eat the cost.

With all the construction around town, I'm sure this stuff happens quite often, which sucks because four of them tires really adds up. Oh well... I still don't want a spare. Just be careful... If you blow one or need it replaced, it might be hard tracking one down.

 

this happened to me, but fortunately it didnt pierce my tire all the way, i took it to dicount tire and they removed it for free.

@stinger, it depends what time her classes are?

 

It looks like her classes will run from 8:30 am till about 4:00 or so.

 

Just ordered some O.Z. ultraleggra blacks from discount tire co. on eastern...they should be here by tuesday, ill post pics when i get em on.
