B then Sunday?
Kevin, I think the only thing Blue needs is your new reman... other than that... I say Grey is parts city. Anyone with a cherry picker can probably help you with the swap. That's out of my realm however... I am the clutch and tranny guy.

oooooof... nah man that's too late for me. All the sun will be gone.
I'll be working on dropping my tranny tomorrow or Sunday if anyone wants to come lend a hand.

If I don't get far over the weekend I'll plan for next. I really don't want Kasumi out of commission for that long but it is what it is. I gotta stop blowing up pilot bearings.

That's a whole lotta lunches for me. I better get used to the taste of rice, because my budget's gonna be LEAN until I pay off that bill. haha also, engine swaps are out of my league too, but it makes the most sense. Grey's engine doesn't even have 2000 miles on it. My tranny (93k miles) felt like it was in better condition than the blue's (112k miles), I'm gonna have to drive it a bit first to see if it'd be better to swap that out too. At least the parts are all gonna be in my driveway!

Rotary Evolution
pulling the engine out through the bay on the 8 isn't an easy job but still doable. i would suggest leaving the transmission in the car and taking it out once the engine is removed, if it needs to be swapped.
rotary resurrection has a writeup on how to do it on your own. take pictures to document how it comes apart and use a sharpie to label the injector connectors as you remove them(the colored labels are usually gone or faded. if you even need to remove the harness, there's many ways to remove an engine).
disassemble the engine mounts once you have the weight off the engine before removing it or they will fight you all the way.
also check to be sure the intake actuators were cleaned when the last engine was installed, many shops don't clean anything.

I don't believe that many of you locals need tuning. But just in case some one is set up for tuning, Kane will be in town starting OCTOBER 26TH and will leave on Nov. 2nd.
If you don't know who Kane is, look at the tuning forums and you will see. He is coming in to try and get my ride operational again. Sure would like to drive it to 7stock this year.
He should have lots of extra time so if your interested in getting your ride tuned and I am sure we can arrange it. I think that a few 7s are taking advantage of him being here.
