Hey guys. Does anyone know a reliable and cheap place to get a headlight bulb from. My car has the xenon d2s in it and when I went to autozone they said one light was 100 bucks... I found a few old threads but the site listed in them seem old or sketchy... or am I fckd and gonna have fork 100 bucks for one light??

 

What type of bulb are you looking for? 6k, 8k, 10k...

I get mine from eBay. They are less than $20 for a pair.

Anyway, i bought one from eBay and i never use them, i change my mind and got a 10k instead. I have the 1 pair 8k (white/blue) if you want for $20 pick-up...

 

I was looking for w/e is stock since I only have 1 out. U said u have the pair, driver and pass. Low beam? How good a quality are they? Id be more than happy to pick them up from u for $20.

 

1 pair of Xenon 8k (blue/white) low beam. They should be good quality. You should change both bulbs because you may have the OE hid. This one is not brighter than your original, so i'm just saying, you may not want this. If you do, PM me and i will give you directions...

So I swapped the light... still out.. did some searching and it seems the ballast is out. Yey... anyone know a reputable place to get a ballast from? Ive been online but most seem kinda shady. .. and im not about to drop 500 for the whole headlight assembly lol.

 

It happened to me on the driver's side. I thought it was the bulb, then i bought a new bulb and we put it in and it did not work, then we know the problem is the ballast. Anyway, i bought the ballast on eBay for $125 and they are new, not used or re manufactured. They are working good so far. It's kinda difficult to take out the ballast, so here's a thread on how to do it...good luck!

Not sure if you guys have heard ... there was a Silver/grey 8 that crashed last night and the driver was the only fatality ... we have 4 of 5 of the SCR cars accounted for ... anyone know who else it may be?

 

I know one person who owns a silver/grey rx8 that lives near our place and i see that car once in a while. I never seen it since last week. I hope its not that person i'm talking about...

Besides its not how many engines u've blown its how much fun u had doing it...

 

The extreme heat wave were having is having an affect with my engine's compression, cannot drive it for longer time...

 

Yea if it was gonna happen, it'd be now. Luckily the warranty was still good or else I'd be one screwed rotard....

 

During WHiV I promissed some one that they could use my compression tester and I can't remember who..........If I made you that promise let me know.
