Swapping coils takes about 10 - 15 min, super easy. You need a special tool for the fuel pump but as I understand it, only like a 20 min job. If Phil has the pump to lend out, he has the tool as well. Can't speak for Phil but I would check with him as an option.

WTF the dealer is freakin retarded chrging that kind of money for some oem parts. Dude changing the coils are beyond easy I did mine in like 10mins the fuel pump takes a min but still easy to do, also all the parts you need you can get from BHR or O'rileys for dirt cheap as well

All the parts need to be OEM for them to declare the engine has failed. You can't have aftermarket coils installed. You do have the option of getting all of those parts at other places. For instance, Phil has a good fuel pump I believe, you might be able to borrow it for the test.
OEM Coils and Engine Mounts can be found online. They are significantly cheaper when purchased outside of the dealership. Check a few of the vendors here. I think I have seen engine mounts for like $125 per and a coil pack for about $150, all OEM. Don't quote me on that those prices though, I could be wrong.
If you are dealing with centennial, they were totally cool with me finding my parts elsewhere and still replaced my engine once I had everything to spec.
Good luck.

Just had an engine approved in Seattle yesterday with our ignition system on it.
But it's better to have stock on the car so as to not have any chance of an issue.

It's nothing against BHR's ignition Easy. The dealership up in Centennial was very specific that the cat I found be Mazda OEM. I figured it would be the same for the coils.

When I was talking to a guy up there he said they were pretty laid back mod wise and didn't have many issues with things. Then again this is just one guy and obviously he cant speak for the whole place. He also told me someone up there would be able to install darker than 35% tint on my car. Then when I asked again he pretended like he never said that and didn't know what I was talking about and seemed a little offended I even asked.
Also A.Mair the hardest part of changing the coils is getting the nut off and back on without dropping it. A 20 minute job turned into over an hour for me because I dropped one of those nuts and it of course did not fall onto the ground. I think the smaller your hands are the easier this job is, for me it was a bit of a squeeze at some points.
Those megan motor mounts are probably not worth it, there was a thread about them not that long ago. It was suggested to just take your old mounts and fill them yourself for the same result but significantly cheaper. There is also a DIY on it, shouldn't be hard to find. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/megan-racing-motor-mounts-review-219711/

I understand why your syaing this. But our coil system is recognized by Mazda. They have no issue with it being on the car.
Just had an engine approved in Seattle yesterday with our ignition system on it.

I still understand it Easy and understood it the first time you posted it. Hence that is why I said "I figured". Any reason you're calling my out on not knowing BHR ignition is accepted as OEM?

All I said is Mazda is OK with our ignition. It doesn't cause any issues with them.
And I also said, putting the car back to stock is a good idea. Saving possible issues with the dealership your working with.
