These are my new wheels - nice five spoke wheel Chrome. Not real fancy but I am a traditionalist.

 

Hey anyone know a grey 8 with a huge carbon touring wing, decent wheels, a few mazdaspeed decals here and there and no kit or appearance package? I parked next to it last night at the Palms. Wondered if he was a member.

 

That car does not sound like one of ours.

 

I also had a crazy vented carbon fiber hood, I forgot that part. It was also the second time I saw this exact car so he is definitely local.

 

tsw nogaro's? i thought you'd go w/ something like sf challenges...

I don't know if this post is a positive or a negative but I like um.
I like a little bling thus the chrome and am a traditionalist five spoke freek. While not my first choice (1st choice is discontinued) they look good on the car . Not familure with SF Challenges?

Most of you have seen my stock rims that have been polished. They do not have any discernible rash but do need a little polishing up. I have them up for sale here in the local thread. PM me for pricing. If I don't get any takers locally then I will put them up nationally (at a higher price than locally).

Phil- What was your first choice of rim? Those TSW's are clean.

 

ASA JH8s were my first choice but I found out they have been discontinued and very hard to find in anyones stock. I also believe they have that clean look and that is what I was really after (with a little bling).

 

^ I could've gotten ASA JH8's... you should've let me know around the time I picked up my wheels... but TSW are good in my book... (I had the thruxton's on my VR)

 

I feel that if we have a scheduled meeting time and day we could get a turn out. I considered twice per month with staggered days but felt that twice may put a crimp on some life styles. As of July 2009 we will have a (one) scheduled meeting on the third Friday of every month. The scheduled meeting will take place every month and will start out at the In & Out parking lot on West Sahara and will start at 7pm. Some months there will / may be trips to various locations or to get food. I do not enjoy setting by my self so some of you need to show up every month For the next few weeks I will be open to discussion as to the day and the time.

I know that some of you work strange hours and accommodations to the side trips can be made for you.

so i drove to Albertson's last night and while heading home, a red 300zx w/ red xxr's (like Gil's) pulls up next to me and revs up and wanted to go at it... w/ my son in the back and father-in-law in the passenger seat.... i tell you there are some real dumb@$$es that drive around in this town. He drove next to me for about a mile before he made a u-turn and left.

Shoot give me the camera, there's nothing to it. Point then shoot how hard can it be?

 

Might try to make it out, will be my first RX8 club meet, been to a couple VR meets, but not in a while.

i couldnt make it to the big meet, i was working the whole time. And my schedule requests off are for photoshoots. Phil, this thursday im off, i owe you a favor wanna meet up and shoot your car?

 

We never seem to have time at the same time.....I am leaving on another short vacation on thursday and will not be back until tuesday. Week days are tough for me as I still work but I do get off early. Let me try and contact you after I get back.
