Looks like the same engine that's in my 2001 mazda protege. Whatever floats your boat, if you like then go for it.. If you have doubts about it, then don't waste your money dude.

 

I'm contemplating the ceramic brakes only from what I've read here in that they produce less dust, make less noise. Performance wise, the stocks work great--except I'm down to about 3mm on my fronts so they need to be changed real soon.

 

Hmmmm ya know what? I gotta check my brakes too... I've noticed that they've started to squeak... if i need to change 'em... why not make it a garage meet? eh? :Eyetwitch:

Well, I offered to help as well, but he said he's giving up for tonight.

 

I just went to AutoZone and got me some paint remover. I painted my mesh grills that were on my hood, and I think it's about time to remove the paint. I used this paint remover before and it works great. My old body shop accidently painted my exhaust when they painted my kit and the paint remover took the paint off with no problem!

 

I can come over tomorrow. My mother in-law left today. Phil can you also check your truck for my phone? I lost it.....

 

I told him the same thing, that I could help him tomorrow if he wanted.. But, he said he's gonna have his son come over next week and help.

 

Going to Disnyland this weekend! Cant wait to come back broke as a joke!!!

Mike, you did not call me and I just got your voice mail. Let me tell you this way about the Interceptor X. Mine is set up for a automatic and would have to be sent back and reconfigured for a manual - cost $250.00. Also the maps on the dongle are for a supercharged a/t and you would have to get maps for a m/t. If you send it back for maps there is another charge of $50.00 for new maps. If you want to buy it I am going to ask $500.00 for it. Of course I told you that you could use it and I stand by my word you can use it until you go another way, but you would still have to change it over.

My contention is that for you it would be a waste of money. The Cobb would be the same price and you would get more for your money that way. It is ready to go when and if you are ready. Let me know your desire. You can PM Scott at Mazsport about the changes, since the bottom has dropped for the X, he may make you a deal on the changeover and maps.
