To Keeping the Engine bay clean will take about one hour out of your time every week. This place is dusty. You dont want all that dust on your Engine so you need get some engine cleaner at Autozone. I dont know the name off hand but I'll post it when i get home.

ppl on this forum say that the k&n is just a noise maker, gil i noticed razz saying stuff in the thread you created, but i swear my car feels different without it, it just doesnt have the umph like it used to, i just cant explain it. I miss it, anyone here who doesnt have an intake should def get one, how you finding it Gil/Anet when you get to the higher revs?

 

Actually the K&N is a good investment if your going to stay n/a and just flash. On paper you will double the HP gain if you flash. Noise is a byproduct that did not bother me but it does some people. If your planning on FI, don't waste your money buying the K&N. My guess is that most of you will never go beyond stock or a few bolt ons, so you might as well enjoy it.

Phil im going to turbo my 8 next year for sure....just weighing out my options

 

You can always sell it but always at less then you paid but maybe you can find one for sale on the forum. Hell I gave one away a few years back. Do not throw away your stock stuff cuz if you turbo you will need the MAF tube and mountings for the turbo to work correctly.

 

Is everyone ok with a 21 and over meet??? If so I will check out this place called The Half Shell. It seems pretty cool looking in from the outside. It has a bar on the roof and it is outside.... If no one cares I will check it out in the next day or so..

Those things put down a TON of power and they are light.

Ok I went to The Half Shell for lunch and it was very cool. I took my daughter Neva (8 years old) with me and they were cool with her being there. We ate upstairs and the food was very good. Now I need to know what day of the week works best for everyone. I think everyone will like this place.
