GReddy turbo kit swap for stock IM & airbox

Hi,

I'm seeking to swap my GReddy kit for stock intake manifold & airbox. I might throw in the metal cat too.

The catch is that whoever takes me up on it will have to help me swap out the parts.

I'm in the Oakland Hills but can drive to a Bay area garage for the swap.

I am bummed about having to part with my 8, but so it goes...

Methinks a bit of clarification is in order. What I am shooting for is to have someone show up with the stock exhaust manifold and airbox in hand then help me pull the GReddy kit off my car & install the stock parts.

Since I am working 14+ hour days, I simply don't have time to help pull parts off or install on the 'donor' car.

I am working with the first couple of people to IM me so hopefully we can work this out.

Wait so are you saying if someone was to give you the stock exhaust mainfold and airbox, plus help install, you would give them the complete turbo kit for free? If that is the case, I would possibly be interested, but don't know how much I could help, or have the exhaust mainfold.

He works long hrs so I take it that is the reason for less communication.

I'm local too with first dibs and tools in hand just waiting on a date and time. It'd be nice to get it done even this weekend..

Definitely bro. Thanks. All the deals I've missed out on were in SoCal so now maybe this one will pan out.

I been building turbo cars for a while now so even though I swore I'd never do it, if nothing goes wrong and Slide comes through even my DD Rx8 will be turbo'd and I can finally live up to my screen name "T-ReX-8" meaning Turbo RX-8.

I been around for a while (check date) so don't let the post count fool you guys hahaha. I remember when Slide was having Charles come out for the rebuild and that was a huge deal now Charles is moving out this way, who woulda thunk it.

Maybe he and Jeff can work some magic on this thing at the NorCal tune day. If I could get my hands on the upgrade kit since Slide says the turbo has kinda high miles I might as well use it as an excuse to upgrade.

*Sits and waits patiently*

Sorry, I got held up in San Diego on business longer than expected.

The soonest I can do this is the week of July 26th.

I haven't agreed complete terms with anyone yet (I think a little bit of cash my way on top is reasonable).
