RJ's Paint shop.

They're perfectionists, and do a great job.

So i asked for tint recommendations here before (many thanks for the replys) and never ended up getting it done. General consensus seemed to be that it was much cheaper in LA than locally in the bay, so I planned on getting it at one of the recommended shops down there.

I have a friend trying to get me to go in with him at Auto Mall Tint in Fremont. It would be about $300 for Suntek HP or $550 for Huper Optik. This seems high to me, but I know nothing about tint. I could still get it done in LA on one of my many trips if the price is much lower. I just have to work harder to fit it into the schedule this time

Thoughts on price? How is Suntek tint? It's metallic but the shop guy says even the Huper Optik can reduce radio reception, and the HO is not really worth the extra $. Is that true?

Thanks!

I am getting mine tinted this weekend in SF. Saw several cars they had done, and was watching them tint 2 while waiting on my new Super Advan Racing Ver.2 wheels being put on. I'm getting 50% front, 20% rear silver tints done. Quote is $180. Place is Faxon Garage, 545 Faxon (@ Ocean) in SF.

I'll try and be at the meet Friday to show off the wheels (I'll post photos as soon as I take them). End caps should arrive in August.

Super Advans was me second choice for wheels but I ended up going with the AME Circlar Spec-R.

The place I got my windows tinted was $200 and the dude was way fast. I've had them for about 2 months now and haven't had any problems. The place is called Auto Image and they're in San Mateo, but I don't have the number it's in my car.

Hello All,

Is there a good chance we can change the meet on Saturdays? Friday night is just too difficult especially when I usually leave work at 7pm.

We're pretty solid on friday nights, most of us have too much to do on the weekends.

But soon we will be having some extra stuff going on on the weekends and you are more than welcome to joinm just check up on here for what we might have going on

If your leaving work at 7pm how long would i take you to get home and get out to UC? we usually hang out for an hour or so before we go eat, we wouldn't mind waiting

Yea, sorry rob, we've been doing the meet on fridays since forever, so it might be hard to change our habits. Also there are other meets on saturday as well, so parking might be more difficult.

BBQ meet!!! Ok... I need some response in order for me to set this up right.

Location: Lake Elizabeth.
Date: Either sunday 7/01 or sunday 7/08. Sunday seems the best for everyone.
Time: 11:00am til someone gets too drunk to remember where they are.

Second BBQ meet -
Location: Treasure Island
Date: August, maybe the first or second weekend.
Time: 11:00am

I actually am gonna come out this friday in the Taurus again. As for the Lake Eli meet, I'd prefer 7/08. The second BBQ meet would work best for me on the first weekend of August because I'm going on vacay to see my dad from the 8th to the 13th.

Do you guys intentionally schedule everything so I miss it? Well, maybe it's because my schedule is too tight...

Probably not a good idea. Sunday June 24th is the only day that works for me. I'm booked solid all the way until I move down.
