Yours is 05 or later, right? The engine got a major tweaks in 05 to have a more usable power curve.

 

My RX-8 is an early 2005 model. I have intake, rp supercat, lightened flywheel, pulleys, and exhaust and my stock S2000 has a better power curve and peak horse power. Darn.
