Question To All question? Front bumper.

Hello,

I was curious to see what front bumper kits you guys like.
I am curious about getting one but wanted to know if you guys had any input as in pros and cons of what looked good then onced installed looked not like it was imagined.

I have seen most kits here.
http://www.grounddynamics.com/Templa...579&SearchYN=N

and the buddy club.
http://www.andysautosport.com/mazda/...d00004407.html

For some reason I like the buddy club front bumper and the 04-08 Mazda RX8 V Speed Front Bumper...

Its a toss up for me. Just wanted to throw it out and get opinions and or more web sites of bumpers that I have not seen yet.

My car is TiGrey
Thanks
Brian

How's that farm going? I'm getting ready to go to Cleveland for 3 weeks for training. What's going on with you?

Cleveland? Oh **** dude, is your gf going with you. I decided to rewrite my resume dude and I'm starting to send out. We'll see what happens. The farmers people won't stop sending me them e-mails. I just have the feeling that might be a ponzi scheme, but I am curious.

No, GF is at home, it's training, so it's not much sight seeing.

Anyone down for Smoke Eaters Saturday night before I head out?

yeah the check engine light is blinking and it stays solid its one or the other. when i first start it. its kind of ok but then later the idle becomes rough, with the car shaking and eventually dies. and then its hard for me to start the car again....

Probably your coils. Remove your intake rubber thing and get to those coils. If there is a white burn area underneath the coils then they are failing.

You need to be more specific when asking questions like this. i.e. Mileage, are you the original owner, when was it serviced last, what specifically were you doing when it first happened, have all the tsb's been done on the car etc. etc. Search in the technical area of the forums you'll find lots of info there.

yeah good point...

well im not sure which owner i am probably 2nd or 3rd bought it from the dealership when it was around 48xxx, been keeping up with tuneup other than sparks and coolant. all reacalls have been serviced

drove my car on Friday after a long time of it just sitting... (i probably drove it for only 4 days the past month.. ) i was running out of gas so i got some and after that stop by a store will quick to take a **** and when i came out it couldn't start i popped the hood to look around. went back inside and it started... after that went somewhere again chilled for like 30 min and it couldn't start again i waited a few min and it was able to start... the following day i got rough idles motor vibrations and a check engine light....

so far i changed battery(needed a new one anyways)
did oil, check MAF, check alternator, cleaned fuel system, check coil wires, did a battery reset and currently trying to check spark plugs i just need the socket.

i doubt that its a blown apex seal or anything wrong with the engine itself. seems more electrical.... if not that than watered down gas? in which ive already used fuel cleaner to at least neutralize the situation. no difference...

yeah i have been doing research online for the past two days. i was thinking about just getting it diagnosed Monday, but when i drove it around the neighborhood it dies sometimes and i have to put it in gear to start it again....
not sure if it can make it to the shop...

It can be the essentric shaft sensor, bad alternator, MAF sensor got wet, or coils and sparks.

I have experienced the similar symptoms you experienced before and the first time it was the essentric shaft sensor. I did ecu reset a couple of times and it went back to normal.

The second time was my alternator failed which cause my car to die out out of nowhere a lot of times. Got that replaced and it was ok again.

The third time was MAF sensor got wet... reset ecu and everything was back to normal. But I never had an issue with coils and sparks.

Well, if you haven't change the spark plugs its probably time. They actually go pretty bad rather soon, and they're not cheap. If the car is having trouble starting up, could be the starter itself, make sure your car has the upgraded starter. Yes, it is also expensive, around $350. If the car hesitates under WOT at low rpms could be the coils. When you check the spark plugs make sure you do one at time as to not get them mixed up.

Yeah check your leading and trailing spark plugs, DON'T MIX them up..
On your coils did you unscrew them and look underneath each coil pack or just the wires. I meant to take them off and check under them for white burn spot. That would be bad coils and the only other thing i can think of now is that your fuel pump may be on its way out. The fuel pumps aren't that great either.
