i recommend running with the cat on...it drones like crazy with the racepipe...or at least get something dual resonated

wish this was availible w/o the midpipe. i realize the deal is that it is free with catback purchase, butits more trouble than its worth to get rid of, and i have no use for it....

 

at the price its still cheaper then most exhaust for this car. I am happy it comes with one due to the turbo build

Yes you can. Not much of a show room as we are a Manufacturer but you can stop by if you life to purchase an exhaust.

Thinking about putting a second resonator onto my midpipe to quiet it down a little bit and kick out the little bit of drone thats there. . . bad idea?

thats exactly what i was thinking of doing, i like the sound it makes just not at the sound level it does it. Right now i have my cat back on and i think it now sounds airy in comparison

Installed mine yesterday with factory cat, love the sound at low RPM's but find it drones a bit higher up.
Hopefully it will settle down in a couple of weeks as it gets more seasoned. This thing must make one hell of a racket with the mid-pipe on, this more that loud enough for an old fart like me.

Anyone want to buy the mid-pipe, no use to me.

 

How much more HP does it add with the race-pipe? And is it a lot louder with it on?

 

tons louder. one of the loudest exhausts you can get on the 8 if I'm not mistaken. They do have dino sheets here on the first page of this thread
