I am a waiting a batch of tips as we speak.

 

I compared my TurboXS against my buddy's AP exhaust and he liked the TurboXS, he said if he saw the new tips on it and it was on sale he would've bought it instead of the AP. I compared the loudness of both pipes and the AP was louder and droned. It actually made the the TurboXS seem kinda mild. We know it is not.

 

Always going to happen without a cat.

 

Woo, just a follow-up: TurboXS was great to deal with over the phone, and as promised, I received the exhaust in the mail today!

Thanks for the comments about the exhaust noise, AJ, I'm excited to get this thing mounted now.... but that has to wait until I go home for Christmas break (I'm at school in SD, exhaust is home in LA......)

Does the muffler come with baffles? Can't tell from my picture and haven't read if it does for certain anywhere else.

 

No baffles, I believe they did in the first version but those tailpipes were no where near as nice as these are.

 

i got installed on wednesday. WOW this thing is loud! im not sure how ill like the race pipe. im going to have to mess with the hangers to get the tail looking right, but fit and finish is great. not sure its fully chrome nobody can see it lol. going to the track tonight, we'll see how that sounds

Loud? Haha, try the HKS with a mid-pipe. That is LOUD.

 

Yeah this exhaust isn't really loud IMO but it sounds great! I'm loving the backfires and flames! Great exhaust!

 

Has anyone verified the 24 HP gains (TurboXS racepipe + cat-back) ??

 

Butt dyno notices a difference, but I've never had my car on an actual dyno to see what it actually puts down.

 

Mine arrived Dec 24th, installed 26th. It put a big smile in my face when I heard it. lol

 

I have a question, how much lighter is this exhaust compared to stock? I know it is a lot lighter but I want to know to compare it to others.

well i finally got my exhaust...sounds wicked sweet but just a lil too loud for me w the racepipe...im gonna havta tone it down just a little
received the exhaust probably a week after ordering and the welds are perfect...also like the thicker, extended tips...the 2ft flames at night are a plus too
with a high quality product like this at a good low price there's a lot of money to be made if they created a dual resonated midpipe...they would sell like candy...just a thought

Received my order tuesday and got it installed today. It all looks to be really high quality! The tips had a very smooth weld near the base and everything fit perfectly. It even came in some of the best packaging i've ever seen.
