Any update about this turbo package? It's been over 3 months since the original announcement and I've yet to see a single picture and/or video with this kit successfully installed into a 2009-2011 RX-8. If I could get a little more proof that this turbo kit just isn't a myth and functions correctly I probably would buy one relatively soon.

I'm just wondering......

Will this turbo kit work in conjunction with either or both the RB REVi Ram Air Duct and/or REVi Intake Kit?

Bump.

C'mon Esmeril boys. My 05 shinka is about to be traded/sold. Unless you guys get this kit installed and tuned (biggest issue for most), I'll be forced into the arms of another platform besides a S2 RX8.

Don't make me buy a 135i, please!

For the love of God, I PMed you, called you, and sent you emails through the esmirel racing website to let you what I'm interested in but no answer.
I'm ready to buy, and this time is critical for me to find as much as I can about the available kits.
I did my research, and talked to everyone I can to get info, but I need to talk to the damn builder before purchase.
I already told you, props on your work, but be a god damn good business man and take care of your customers.
If its that hard to get a hold of you to buy, I wonder how much harder would it be to get customer support after the purchase. :-/
If you care about selling me, please pm me.

thanks..

If you went through that much trouble to buy something from someone and they have not responded then why would you continue to chase them? What will it be like when you need support?

Im with you...Im about ready to dump this kit. I had a second opinion on the issues and now im being told that I have to use the microtech and that the Cobb cannot be used to tune the kit properly.

The kit can easily be modified to work with a Cobb correctly, it's requires some mods to the Cold Side piping. The Cobb can be tuned blow through with a proper MAF setup, ie: Same as stock 3.375" ID and Screens before the MAF. Modifying the kit a little more to make it a Pull Through Setup would be more ideal though.

Have you replaced your faulty O2 Sensor yet? Or are you still chasing another cause for your issues?

you are definitely right, I've successfully contacted Turblown, and Pettit Racing without any problems, and they more than helpful with giving all the info I need plus their special offers.
I guess Chris just doesn't give a damn... O well.

The kit is bad ***, I've seen it installed and I'm considering using it for my show car at the shop. It can work with Cobb after few mods, but for plug and play, your better off with the Microtech. They also said that they are developing "haltech" which I haven't done any research on it.. the only bad part about the microtech is the price tag.
I'm just frustrated with the bad communication skills they have.. it is hard to imagine doing business like that.. especially on a large scale.. or even professional courtesy from shop to shop.

The haltech should work with it , having it installed on my car first weekend of may. i would think it would work with any of these turbo set ups but for all the trouble of just trying to buy this kit I think I'd def prefer going with something else.

I wish one day i could see a real video of those FI engines, specially Esmeril. Looks so gorgeous on paper, but what about reality ? We never see any 8 running with those systems. ( and please no donuts/burnout vids, nobody cares of that waste of time and material :S )
