Well ... unfortunately today turned out to not be the big day, lol, we have the car running on the haltech and running great from what i'm told, however, was still one more kink that needed to be ironed out before i get the car. So .... I'm not able to plan another day out there until june 30th ... so sorry for the delay but we all want this to be perfect before i get the car, so looking like that will be the date for sure

Better to be safe than sorry. At least they're not trying to rush it out the door

Car is up and running great. I have a small issue at wide open throttal that I am sorting out. It's just not worth rushing and I want it right. I will post some vids up of the car running tomorrow. Brian I'll text you the you tube link. Thanks for the patience.

Its just the priming map for that temp. Whats funny is that it cranks first try except when I made the vid. That's how it always goes.

Yep .... good stuff coming it looks like Gettin there ... We all owe Rotary Inspired a BIG thank you by the way, he's doing a **** ton of work for nothing but the cost of the unit to show it can be done !

We should have a dyno to show once the few remaining kinks are worked out. I'm sure there will be some increased power from before , but in the end really doesn't make a huge diff to me as I'm planning on having him do a turbo next summer anyway.

So, if you have to modify the OEM harness to get this to work, is there a reason not to buy a second one and use that, and swap back for warranty issues? Or is this a non reversible/replaceable mod?

Yes, the OEM harness is modified. No its reversible, but if someone wanted to purchase a second harness that is up to them.

I tried for 6 months. Sourcing the connectors has not happened.

this might be a stupid question ... but would you be able to mask specific CEL codes with the piggy? I.e. P0420 for uh ... the track dedicated vehicles that uh .... we just dont want the CEL on ... yea

You'll get better longevity at the same power level with a blower on a renesis. Plus, they sound better. Weight and cost are pretty close either route. Personally, I think an E85 supercharged R3 would be pretty rad. I'd do it in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the fact that the performance/cost of properly FI'ing a renesis is mindblowingly awful.

Not trying to tell you that what you're doing is wrong, just posting in hopes that you'll consider blowing some money on a project I've always wanted to see :P
