How will 18x9.5 +38 wrapped in 245/40s fit with coilovers ? Will there have to be any other modification besides rolling the fenders ?

Lowered on coilovers is the vaguest thing. Ride height is what matters for the most part. It won't rub at all though. For looks I'd suggest a 5-10mm spacer. Then you may need other mods though.

Alright, here's my attempt:

18"/ 9.5"/ +38mm
Work CR Ultimates

Tires: Probably 255/40/18

Suspensions Changes: Bilstein PSS9 coilovers lowered to the lowest

Edit: I'm also more interested in AutoX performance than being admired by the hellaflush. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Too tall of tire. Do 265/35. Possibly a roll needed and some minor trimming

Need advice please. Have searched and can't find answer to my specific question

Need to know what tyres I should run on my
18x9.5 +23's

Lowered on HSD coilovers (not sure how much drop, quite significant. maybe 2" - peak of stock tyres are horizontally in line with peak of fender arc at present)

Don't mind getting fender work done

Don't want to run a lot of camber.

245/40/18 seems commonly suggested for my wheel size. I just want to confirm this is best option to achieve as little camber as possible.

cheers

Yup that's exactly what I was going to suggest. 245/40/18 will be good. Make sure to roll your fenders though.

thank you for reply.
if I stretch 225/45s onto the 9.5 rims - can this handle aggressive cornering/braking or would 225/45 be only safe for daily driving.

reason I ask is I know 225/45's will fit (with stretch) and result in less camber being required to fit with the car as low as it is at the moment.

Just get the 245/40. It's the best answer. You won't need -6 camber

okay cheers
out of curiosity though, dan I found a post from you in the past where you ran 225/40s on 9.5 +15's
but now you suggest against this tyre size? did you have a bad experience with it? was it too much stretch in your opinion?

I'm slammed on 9.5 +15 in front on 225/40/18 tires and it looks way better than that picture posted with that 9.5 +0 since theres so much silly camber and stretch.

Hey there,

So im looking to get off stock rims, and love the look of work emotion kais / rota torques. found some 2nd hand emotions in nz, just not sure if they will fit.

Heres the listing, as he says at the bottom the offsets are +35 and +25. Sorry not to sure about how tire numbers work. ive seen a bunch of differing info about if the offset will fit, and these seem close. I have adjustable suspention also.

Work Emotion Kai 18''x 9.5'' 5x114.3 | Trade Me

Will it fit? Cheers
