No you couldn't. You'd have inches of wheel outside the fender not under as you say.

cool, why do you suggest the 265 35 over 255? is it just better clearance or because the 255 would be too stretched?

less stretch and closer diameter to the fronts. you might have to run over 2 degrees camber in the rear to fit as well. fender tabs will also need to be trimmed

isn't that much camber going to wear the tires badly, sorry about all the questions I'm not very good with wheels, tires and all

I said with the correct offset. I could probably run like a x12.5 +40 and utilize all the space inside. I'm running the x11 0 in front now and I can fit my fist between the edge of the wheel and the suspension.

2 degrees isn't that much and isn't too bad on wear. You just want to make sure your front is at least at about 1.5 so the rear doesn't decide it wants to be a little loose. Have them zero out your toe as well.

more rear camber increases understeer, not oversteer

Did I get it backwards? I was reading some alignment shenanigans in one of the racing threads and maybe I mixed it up. Either way I think you should try to keep them close.

also, toe causes way more wear than camber. the camber sets the contact patch area, but the toe determines how much scrub the tires are subjected to

Yeah, for just normal street driving zero all around works well and saves you some tire.

no worries. his staggered setup will also create lots of understeer, so from a performance standpoint he should run more camber in the front than the rear to counter the understeer caused by the stagger.

this staggered setup is not one I would recommend

ok, so a noob question here i planned on bringing it to get aligned would they adjust the camber to make it fit(is that what an alignment is). also when i put the rims on i would be able to adjust it how would i know how much to, just trial and error

sorry for the stupid questions, like i said this stuff is hard for me, ive never had it explained before

Eh, let him have understeer for the street. Understeer is safe.

Also, I would always choose to stay the same front and rear if even for the sake of rotating tires.

he will have terminal understeer though. so much that it will handle like a stock civic.

the shop will adjust the alignment into factory range, and will only adjust to settings outside of this range if you ask

you need an alignment everytime you change the ride height. as the height is changed, alignment values change

wheel measurement specs

hola persons... I'm in the process of getting some custom wheels made and have been requested to get some certain measurements so that the wheels can be made... of course i could do this myself if i wasn't over 8000 miles away from my car... essentially i'm looking for someone who might have their car apart to see if they would be willing to take some measurements for me my car is a 2006 with the GT package and sport suspension with the slightly larger rear brakes... if anyone has this same model and is willing to go out of their way to get these meaurements i can assure you that you would have a very grateful military member on your hands...

need measurements for front and rear please and thank you

MEASUREMENT 1 : distance in centimeters from the inside of the bottom wheel well to the face of the brake rotor (the part that mounts to the hub not the braking surface)
MEASUREMENT 2 : the distance in centimeters from the face of the brake rotor to the inside wheel well where the coilovers mount to the chassis
MEASUREMENT 3 : the distance in millimeters from the outer most part of the caliper to the face of the brake rotor
MEASUREMENT 4 : the distance in centimeters from the top of the caliper to the center of the axel/ hub
MEASUREMENT 5 : center bore diameter in millimeters
MEASUREMENT 6 : the distance in millimeters that the center bore sticks out from the outer face of the brake rotor

hopefully the picture loaded so you can see exactly what i'm asking..

again any help on this would be awesome and i would be very very appreciative

I would suggest to buy wheels of the correct offset so spacers are not needed. For example:

18x9 +32:
TSW Nurburgring custom rims

These will work with 245/40R18 tires. Flush depends on your ride height (what suspension are you running?).
Stock Suspension I noticed the rear wheels sit in a little on the rear.

18x9 MB Battles with a +38 offset paired with 255/40/R18 Hankook Ventus V12 Evos with Racing Beat Springs or Swift Sport Springs and Tokico D-Specs. Any possible rubbing isues?

Your problem would be the LCA not the coilover.

Hmm. I really dont think so. I still have a ton of clearance there too. Like I said, I could easily go an inch deeper on the inside. Tilt was running 11.5 +21 in front which is 27mm (that's more than an inch) less inner clearance than I have now. And he had no issues yet either.

For everyday use it shouldn't unless your reversing/turning and have the wheel at full lock. With my current set up I scraped the LCA's bad at a recent drift event. Running 18x10 +35 all around.

lol, that's less inner clearance than 11.5 +21
looks like you need some spacers!

Should be fine, but most would run 245/40R18 or 265/35R18 since they are a little shorter in diameter to help your gearing (slightly better acceleration).

I current setup is MB Weapons in 18x9 +45 and 265/35R18 all around. I am on Progress Sport springs, and have plenty of room.
