There are some people on here running Advan's in 18X9J +29 with the 245/40/18. It's a great setup, maybe they can post up some pics.

^ does the "J" make a difference?

Isn't 245 like 9.6" wide? I really don't understand tires thats why I ask, I trust your judgement though.

don't worry about the J.....245 isn't set in stone. Some tires are wider or narrower than others. 245 sits almost square on a 9" wheel

Maybe a stupid question, but I just want to ask.

Would a 18x8 +38 offset...
1) makes any difference to the Rev per mile?
2) fits good without the need to roll any fenders?

Planning on 235/40R18 -- I know this spec (on the 18x8) will make the rev per mile about 2% too fast , but I would like to know further if the +38 offset plays an additional role in it as well? (becuz stock is +50 offset), so will it E.g. making it rev per mile indifference even higher? or offset plays no role in it?)

Thanks!

perhaps you should look up what rev/mile means and what offset means. edit: get wider than 8" wheels and run 245/40 instead of 235/40

Thanks, I'll take it as offset doesn't play any role at all

Will do,
so, +38 offset will not require a fender rolling/ modification right?

the specs link doesn't even work, you don't have tires specified, you don't have suspension mods specified. try again

20s on this car is dumb imo but the design of those wheels looks fine.

Hey Im looking for some tires and I found good deal on a a set of 225/50/r18 froms a local car club member . I currently have the 225/45/r18 on the front and rear. just wondering would it look dumb or would it have rubbing issues my rims are. 18x7.5 (+45) all stock suspension? thanks for the input.

19x8.5 (5x114.3) Falken FK452 - 245/35/19 front +35 Offset 2" Lip

Currently lowered on Tein S-Tech / Tokico D-Specs. Any potential problems?
