For a track, 275s are overkill unless you are boosted. Autox people run 9.5+45 with 275s all the time.

NOT asking if it will look good but im asking if it will rub in the front when the steering wheel is turned all the way one way ??

Once again not asking whether if it will look good cause this set up is just to fool around... ill remove it depending on how it looks.

Thanks
they're going to poke out a lot at stock height.

Just finished installing. The wheels are 18x8 +30 with 25mm spacers. Rear looks really good but the front is pretty poke as i expected. I might remove the spacers in the front.

Question for you guys. I am rubbing in the wheel well when i turn in the front. Can i just leave it and after a while the tire will just shave off a bit of the wheel well ??? Have you guys had that problem ?

Thanks

Yea that's what we were talking about. If it's only barely rubbing that plastic it's no big deal but behind that plastic is unforgiving metal. No way 8+5 looks good. No possible way

True but if it pokes out that much, i don't think he'd have to worry about rubbing much on the inside fender wells...i'd almost be concerned about him rubbing on the actual fender.

yay! mexi-flush!

edit: pics plzz - imagination is wondering

^ To be honest it looks like **** in the front but the rear looks good.

I turned my wheel all the way one way and it looks like its just skimming the wheel well. I hope i should be okay rolling on these for one day. Cause im putting my stock wheels back on tomorrow. This was just to see what it would look like. lol

Or the obvious answer would be take the spacers off

What about:
Tein Basics (1.5" drop all around)

O.Z. Alleggerita HLT
with 18x8 +48mm?

will that match the edge of the fenders front and back?

people need to understand the basic math of offsets to width.

I may have misunderstood your question. Are you asking if they will be flush??

maybe, but yes i was. But if you are correct the how does an inch and 3mm make THAT much of a difference....thought it was the offset of the bolt pattern to the edge or the rim and the width of the outside rim is the total?

The bolt pattern isn't offset lol. The rest of that....is it even English? edit: You seem to sorta maybe kinda know what offset means, so I hope you realize inches are big deals in a game of millimeters.

Stock height = never gonna work
Those rear specs are way more aggressive than the fronts and wouldn't work without serious mods. The fronts could work all around if you lowered your car on a good bit (more than s-techs) and ran 245/40s.

Concavity is most likely related to width. Some custom wheels have different concavity at different offsets too I believe but you wouldn't be asking here if that were the case.

Fitment noobie <--

I'm looking at some Wedssport SA60M's 18x10 +35 with 295/30/18's all around.
Sitting on Tokico D-Specs and Mazdaspeed springs (Will move to KW V3's later, which I know would be the ideal set up).

Roll Rear AND Front, check, but will it fit?!!??
Thanks

Tires too wide. 275/35 is as wide as you could go and you would need to be lowered about 2" all around and shave the rear bumper tabs off.

Did we ever determine the highest offset + widest width wheels that have been run on the rx8? i.e. the wheels with the least inner clearance?

I recall discussing it before and bringing up the 10.5 ET43's that TeamRX8 ran, then sold, but has there been anything else with confirmed less inner clearance?
