Just wondering why you want stretched tires when your offset will allow 275's on back and 245 up front?

"Slammed" can only be achieved with coilovers, so no.

255's are too fat for an 8" rim. 245/40/18 is a very popular size for the stock rim.

It will fit, but it is a bit too much tire like he said.

ok....

lemme help you out Mazda rx804

Someone has already gone there and done that....

here's the proof

Forum member: envyno1
Thread: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/my-first-photoshoot-173169/

Exact same wheels specs

My opinion:
If you like the stretched look, please take a look at the 'AGGRESSIVE WHEEL FITMENT' thread. +43 on a 10' wide wheel is only the beginning. Search forum member TILTMODE - here's his thread: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/silver-takata-green-british-black-sbc-gold-work-metal-buff-orange-187015/

also - rule of thumb. Stretched tires look ok (to some)with the correct fitment however stretched tires on TUCKED wheels suck....period. If the wheels aren't 'hella flush' i wouldn't bother aiming for the stretched look.

Hope this helps

no the diameter is the same, the profile is the aspect ratio, a 225/45 the side wall is 45% of the width, a 245/40 the sidewall is 40% of the width but its wider, you maitain the same profile so it wont **** with your speedo

Helllo......Here's a noob Question...yet again. But, I was wondering? Will 235/40/18 be stretched on 18x8.5 Rim?

Thanks again!
