could I go 255 on the stock 18x8's? or is that too wide? If that fits (or if i have to go w/ 245's on the stock rubbers), will I have any issues with rubbing? I figure not, but it never hurts to check

^Not recommended, but you can, and it will not rub.

245/40 it is... slightly smaller OD than my stockers, but i'll take it. still cheaper than buying 19" rubbers.

Hey guys i'm goin this weekend to mount my new tires onto my black stock 18's (I'm going from the base 16's to these) I was thinking about using some spacers to bring them out of the wheel well is this a good/bad idea an what size should I use? Thanx for the input

I can't remember what offset the stock wheels are (+45 or +50?) but 25mm spacers should do the trick.

I'm highly considering some
Ray's G-Games 77W [2 piece welded]
19x8 +42
5x100/114

And I plan on putting .5 inch spacers in the front and one inch spacers in the back, after rolling of course. Will it fit?

I wouldn't consider it as aggressive but you'll be sitting at 19x8 +17. Be a lot better than stock tho

Make sure the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 btw

ok gotcha. Haha exactly, especially with the Veilside body kit, the rims sit in so bad, i hate it. I use to have your rims on my old 8, just not anywhere near as aggressive haha. I was running 18x9.5 in back with +35, it looked aggressive enough for me

To me an aggressive setup is a combination of an aggressive offset AND an aggressive width. If you need spacers to get an the right offset then your wheels are too skinny. On the other hand, if you have a low offset, but need spacers to make sure your wheels don't make contact with the suspension then the wheels are wide enough

Advan RZ in 18x9.0 on a corners.

Which would you choose:

265/35 on the +35 offset,
or stretching 245/40 on ET25?

Both setups stick out the same amount, and are about the same as the 265/35 on 18x9.5+38 I was considering earlier.

Both come with the GTR concave face, but none of the images I've seen really tell me whether the concavity or spoke curvature is much different between the two.

I think you left something out here... a +35 9" wheel will not stick out the same as a +25 9" wheel...

Sorry, I wasn't specific enough:

By "stick out" I'm referring to the fender and the outside edge of the tire itself, not the rim.

Go with 265/35 on 18x9 +25; or 255 if you want a little more clearance

The only difference between 25 and 35 is the lugs sit back more; still the same face

^Depending on the tire...Fronts will most likely need to be rolled.

Just because a one tire brand is listed as a 245/40/18, does not mean it will be the same thickness and width as another brand...Some brands run wider than others...
