Tokico D-specs setting w/ RB springs & sways

Hey guys, I've ordered RB spings and D-specs, just wondering what shock settings other people with this setup are using for both track and everyday. I'm also wondering how the D-specs on the softest setting compares to the OEM shocks. Thanks.

I have these with the S-Tech springs. I set them for 5 turns from full stiff for an OEM like ride. I haven't had them at the track yet so I'm not sure what my track settings will be.

^+1 I have the RB sways, MS strut braces, Tokicos, S-techs and just put in a fresh set of T1R's and all I can say is Wow! BTW I set my shocks @ 2 3/4 turns from full stiff in the front and 3 1/2 in the rear.

I have the D-specs, RB springs, and RB sways. My usual setting on normal roads is 4 turns out for front, 5 turns out for back. It has a noticeable difference over stock but the ride is still comfortable. If I'm feeling a little frisky I set it to 2 turns front and 3 turns back for better response. It is still mostly comfortable but gets kind of skittish on rough roads. Any stiffer than that I found doesn't really help handling any more for street use. I would say stock level damping is at around 6-7 turns out.

Oh cool thanks for the info guys. At least now I have a starting point to work from. Can't wait to try these out on the track in 2 weeks!

For the track, I'd suggest you start at 3 turns out which will proabably be too soft, then try 2, then 1 to feel the difference. I have found 3 to be the stiffest I can use on the street before the car starts skipping over bumps rather than absorbing them.... 4-5 is better.

I use H&R springs which are pretty stiff for street use.
